- We are going to explore the phrase in the book of Exodus “a land flowing with milk and honey.” What exactly does this phrase mean? And how does it affect our understanding of early Israelite culture?

Speaking of milk and honey, one of my favorite things to do is mix honey with milk and warm it up for a couple of minutes. I recommend using a ton of honey if you want it to taste sweet. I got the inspiration from a studio ghibli flick.
It’s probably the best beverage to drink while watching a Biblical movie, such as Prince of Egypt
As a middle Eastern ex-Muslim, milk and honey was a big thing growing up. I love it
It does seem that the Israelites should have read the fine print on that promise.
Yup, they sure should have.
Eye opening... thanks.
Interesting. I really enjoyed it. Is there a part 2 of this video.
Wow
Not what I was hoping for but oh well. I’m curious where was this place. Did they ever get there. And where is this place now????
@ancientegyptandthebible another interpretation is honey is date syrup/honey. That the fates were so heavy that they fell to the ground and oozed its sweet goodness😋
I wonder why
Ugggghhhh so is that our promise too
Nope, we're promised suffering instead. 😂
@@ancientegyptandthebible 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 That's all I have gotten since I left my personal Egypt...Hahahaha....you are right on point...too funny!
Simply put: Milk=birth & Honey=growth. Why? Genesis 1:29 God said unto them, be FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY. Milk=multiplication & Honey=Fruitfulness. Milk is only available when there is a new born; milk comes from godly pleasure (sex with your wife) and worker bees help to pollinate our food; fruitfulness comes from work.
Milk and honey in the bible refers to the milky way galaxy and the beehive cluster. These are found in space, or the sky, or the heavans as it was called. Not here on earth.
That makes absolutely no sense, since the Israelites are promised "A LAND flowing with milk and honey." Lands that people inhabit are found on Earth, not in space.
@@ancientegyptandthebible it makes a lot of sense if you understand astrology, the zodiac and the stars in the heavens. Look into it, you might be surprised at what you find!
@aaroneschenburg4018 thanx for doing that.
@@ancientegyptandthebible Israelites were Canaanites. From the land of Canaan. They changed from Canaanites to Israelites when they dropped the several EL Gods and choose a monotheistic singular God to rule them all. So Israelites not only have land, they are killing others for their land right now as well. -That makes no sense!
@@aaroneschenburg4018 That's one theory, but it's a theory I don't agree with.
