I gotta say, this is so far the best Lagos-Ibadan travel vlog that I've seen so far on RUclips..it had a very personal touch to it and a very human story narrative to it. Also you gave us more details than all the other videos cared to give such as the names of the other minor train stations along the route. Plus it had a cinematic film like quality to it...And yes we do pray along with you that things continue to improve as well as our general attitude towards preserving the things we have. The train ride indeed is a delight, clean cabins, spacious leg space, nice music, but one is advised to carry a wrap or something warm to cover up with because the air conditioning is extremely effective.
I’m happy that the new station from the Lagos end is now functional because I have traveled twice on the train not too long ago and the inconvenience of struggling on the old train tracks and over gravel with my suitcase was terrible.
I hope the infrastructure at both the Abeokuta and Ibadan end has also improved, because on my trip to Abeokuta passengers were actually falling down on the makeshift bridge or path created from the platform to the again makeshift car park.
I also wonder why tickets need to be purchased with cash an hour or so before departure. We should be able to purchase tickets either online or use our card considering the fact that we are priding ourselves as being a cashless nation.
Overall we have done something good and I can only hope this can be maintained.

We are way bigger than this as a nation in 2021. Hopefully it's sustained and improved upon with more rail lines and faster trains on direct routes to save more time. Then we can have many work in a state and live in another state with very short commuting time.

Very nice, will love to embark on such journey soon. Great move in nigeria we can hope and dream again for a better Nigeria. This is my only fear I hope we can maintain and sustain it in years to come. If that is guaranteed then we are good to go. Nigeria will be great again.

Your fear is valid after several disappointments. However, that true takeoff is only possible when WE (Each of us) in our closets start to do right, even when it’s difficult to do so, when no one is watching us. That’s character. Then good will be sustained gradually through our community

A beautiful and well documented rail trip. I'm definitely inspired to embark on this journey as well.
It's also quite refreshing to see and celebrate good work being done in our nation as we hope for better in the not so distant future.
    Thanks Mr Soji 👌
