I'd recommend putting some beams or something under near the edge of the wings ao it doesn't sag and after a while remove it and it will stay in that shape (Something I've done myself)
You’re so dedicated to these builds! The wings looks very good indeed. With every build it’s getting better and better. I’m really looking forward to the engine 2 and the tail. This must look good because it will make or brake the plane, but I’m sure you can do it!
Watching those landing gear in action, and seeing how sluggish they are, I think you should rebuild them now versus later. I don't know how your drivetrain works exactly, but I think you should move the gear reduction as close as you can to the axles that actually move the landing gear, because otherwise, the axles will actually twist and absorb power, and friction causes a lot more issues. As a Technic builder, this is something I have a lot of experience with. I also think that some of your u-joint connections could be better, having them at sharp angles can actually cause problems.
Big Planes have you ever thought about making more tutorials? Like cargo door tutorial, Wing box but angled up instead of back or as well, Ground crew vehicles. Things like these would be very helpful.
A good recommendation that i have for you is to use 3d models of aircraft instead of pictures when building. Just search up "aircraft(whatever it is)" 3d model and you will find many! It will help you alot when building
Dude im so happy youre doing this plane - its literally my favorite plane tied with the 727 - the only thing that could make it better were if it was united airlines with their rainbow tulip livery
Really great work. Have you considered filmimg some of the build process as you go thruogh? Maybe a masterclass on techniques you use as you do them...
May i ask why you build your martin mb-1 ww1 bomber over Minifigure scale? Also please try to make some cargo aircraft: id love to see a c-17 and i think its a good idea to do a updated version of all your custom bombers (there are 3 new ones)
You talked about using a stand so you can show off the landing gear. Something to consider might be contact pads inside the stand hole and the stand so you could use wall power or something else other than onboard power to keep it on always and not worry about batteries and still look clean.
Mr. Big planes I have a question for you I don’t know if you’ll see this but, I’m working on a 727-200 lego plane it’s almost done but I’m noticing the back of the plane is a bit saggy because of the weight, do you have any suggestions or links you can send to me. I’m asking you this because you might be one of the only people who know. Sincerely, L D bricks Ps the reason I built the plane was because of how Inspiring you are
I don't think it is the best idea for you to use a 32 stud long axle for the landing gear. Those axles are on the weak side, and can twist a lot. Here's some videos demonstrating Lego axle twist, and how to mitigate it. m.ruclips.net/video/drmlBqzqJSo/видео.html m.ruclips.net/video/7YGp5zebQFE/видео.html In the first video, it is shown that long axles can twist a lot, which can cause problems. I think, while you still can, you should revise the axles, else you might have issues down the line. I can offer input if you need some help.
What are you excited about seeing with this plane? Let me know below!
I’m just excited to see the model complete it’s going to look so cool
I'm excited that it looks classic
The technique used for the tail
The 1970’s style Economy Cabin and First Class Cabin.
I really want to see the tail personally.
Your wings look fantastic
Comming along good
Coming*
This is incredible. You, sir, are a legend.
Yo great work on the DC-10, sometime in the future It’ll be cool if you could make a b-17 Flying Fortress , keep up the good work 👍🏻

Lol I love the “engines work, but my camera doesn't...” 😂😂😂
good stuff man! i cant wait for the full walk thru with passenger back stories!
Fabulous work!!!! 😊✈️

Nice work man! You respect the time given to make such a complex and big lego creation. And custom! No instructions. Top notch as always

So impressed with this. 👌🏼

Looking forward to the next update
Hi Bigplanes, I am building a 717 using your technique for the fuselage of your other smaller planes. You are very inspiration and good video
cant wait till this is finished he always wows me

Looks great so far
Impressive!

looks amazing
Another livery that would be nice on the dc10 is VARIG, it is beautiful.
Nice model
One of these days I want to see a video with every plane that you have built and kept plz I want to see it really badly ❤
The A380 is at the Emirates Hq i'm pretty sure
@@TheServerit2 no not like that what I meant was I want a long video with every plane that he’s built in one space one day
Good I love it keep up the good work

We think alike...
Hey bigplanes. Will the number 2 engine/ back engine be motorised?
Wow cool!

can you make the inside of the engines a darker color since it kinda looks small.
Making it darker will give it more depth
where you take instructions and parts for lego planes?
Will the cargo door be attached?
development going as quickly as the real thing 😂
Nice vid
I love it
After this one can you build a ryanair plane?
I was wondering if you will ever post instructions or is it purely custom
After your done making that can you build a lego private jet?
wow!!!
Cool
Make an md 11 and md 80
Next project Tu-154M or Airbus A330-300.
Wow
is there a discord server?
You shood make a lego f35 with motorized flaps
Make an a320 and a321 717
Faz o Antonov an225
Please make A350-1000 😢
