MYRA IS A TOTAL BOSS!!! The way she just calmly walked over Angel and gave the evil little twerp Angel a slap is an all-time fave scene! And OF COURSE the plan to stitch up Fergo was going to go wrong with everybody shouting through the cell door, including Pixie giving a detailed run-through of the plan! You'd have thought the gang would have learned by now to have someone keeping an eye out for interlopers in the corridors... And strange that Pixie returned looking older than ever... Oh well - bye bye Heather!!! But I have the feeling that Reyno will have a change of heart eventually where her moral high ground is concerned. The rapist claiming that he and Meg actually know each other and have been having an affair??!! I can't even... And of course the Social Worker opens his mouth and seems to add confirmation of the fairy tale.

NativeMoon I once slapped a brat kid of about 6 in exactly the same way as Myra... Unexpectedly.. After he gave me a mouthful of foul mouthed abuse.. His mother wasn't pleased.. But she never slapped her bratty kids and I'm not sorry I did.

It's about time that Reb and her mum are making up. After all, she's the one that carried you for nine months and was in labor with you for hours. Stan's wife's accent reminds me of a movie I saw, It was The Secret Garden, starring Maggie Smith. It was in my opinion , the best of all the Secret Garden movies. There is a child named Martha, she's a maid and her accent is just like that. She sounds Irish and Welsh too, just like Dennis' ex wife. Who is the cute man in the picture behind Bobbie at 18:32?

You'd think whoever puts together the recap at the start of the episodes would have put in where Myra and Jude saved Reb at the end of the last episode, that opening scene in the laundry would have looked like it came out of nowhere if you missed the end of the last one.
Come on. they always do line ups with the victim behind a two way mirror so the people in the line up don't know who's observing them !
It wasn’t always that way.
Not 40 years ago they didn't. My students union building was next to the main police station and sometimes they'd come in and ask for volunteers to stand in the lineup. I agreed once. The witness went up and down the line and had to touch the right person on the shoulder. No 2-way mirrors! We got paid a couple of quid for our time. It was a bit nerve-wracking as I don't know what I'd have done if I'd got ID'd!!
sometimes even more recently i have an ex who stole a car n was seen by an old friend/neighbor of ours well the cops got wind of the person seein who stole it n took the neighbor to our house n when my ex came out side the cops asked the neighbor if he was the right guy right in front of my ex. so basically the coos allowed a witness to ID a crim out in public right to his face. that coulda been very very dangerous for someone if it had been more serious crime &or any one else but my ex cuz he was never the physically dangerous type but the cops didnt kno that

It is appalling. I remember back in the 1980s people's attitudes to rape was even more Neanderthal than it is now. Possibly it was written in to make people think. It's certainly hard hitting & presented in an unflinching way
