The explanation at 6 min is also a far better explanation. Once bitten twice ahy so for Madara to be able to do it a second time was more or less the author trapping themselves. The 6 min explanation would have left far more wiggle room for erros to be overlooked considering the kyuubis paower.and the fact he could have just bijiu bombed said village much more affectively.
