This show and Emmet was my first experience about 3 years ago with racing podcasts. I could drive all night delivering whilst listening to shows like this, it couldn't get any better. Emmet is mostly blinkered in his views and opinions😅, but still, he fronts a great show with great guests. I keep my feet on the ground when it comes to horses who are allowed to get a 5L start and allowed to dictate until they meet is a half decent horse, then and only then do I start to judge. There are too many over excited people in this game that include the rating guys. Keep up the good work, guys. Don't always adhear to your tips and advice, but I love to hear them.
Glad you like the show and I very much appreciate your message. Thanks for your support, I hope you continue to enjoy the content. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
@ That’s very kind of you to say. To be honest I have a lot going on, so this means a lot. Thanks for taking the time to say it and I hope you continue to enjoy the content. Next show is with Adam, Andy and Peter and it should be a cracker 👍🏻
@@stephenbyrne7219 Hi Stephen. We’re hopefully recording the Christmas preview special soon with all the major races covered. Four man podcast! Hope you enjoy it
Caldwell Potter needs bottomless going to show his best form, so not giving up on him, but he won’t be winning at Cheltenham. Jango Baie on the other hand I could see him being dropped back in distance this year rather than being targeted at the Browns. The other chaser from Cheltenham that I think will have a festival target is Haiti Coulours. Depending on its revised rating you could see the Ultima or the National Hunt chase being his target.
@@thecritic81 Really? Desperately disappointing performance. It’s not the horses fault that he cost €740,000 and needs soft ground, but that has to be called out. I don’t know, but I’m guessing the reason he didn’t run at Cheltenham was he’d be lapped. I’m not even sure what race he could actually win at the Festival this season, unless it comes up heavy, which has happened once or twice, but is not likely and far from ideal. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Could be controversial but how good is the Ballyburn form now Slade Steel has been beaten twice and mystical power was lapped in the fighting fifth. No way I'd take the 9/4 for the Arkle for him
I never fancied ballyburn for the arkle I think he be better over 2 half or 3 miles now majbough I am already on for cheltenham 12/1 and 10/1 for the arkle because I think he will be 7/4 favourite and inthe pocket will be second favourite at 3/1 and them novices from England will be beat out of sight
No preview show emmet? Hope everything is OK buddy I remember u mentioning ur mum in previous comments praying it's nothing serious and some content is coming ourself peter andy and george for that matter are great minds keep it up all the best
Apologies Tom, my Mother is back in hospital so no recording today.

I think backing any of Mullins potential second string ante post is abit dodgy because when paul decides to ride Ballyburn , surely you’ll get a bigger price on the day
I forgot to say this on the pod, but I’m amazed at the bandwagon jumpers falling for the same old trick again. Ile Atlantique was a bottle job in Bumpers and a bottler over hurdles and he’ll bottle it the second he has to fight over fences, and he will have to fight. There’s only one Coastal Path I like and he won a major handicap. I can’t wait to take him on. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Agreed pal and wasn't trying to be smart. It's the races like the Juveniles last year and Albert Bartlett type horse where Willie is 5 deep and you haven't a clue what's what. Dancing city won at the DRF from memory and Kargese and then neither won in chelt. PT was on Storm Heart in the triumph. Just had no clue myself and would prefer those types of races to have Jack riding for Gordon v Paul for Willie v Rachel for Henry v Keith for Gavin. Then make an educated guess. Having Paul v Danny v Patrick etc etc wrecks my head. Especially the antics down Limerick when Patrick pointed the finger at Danny. Sure he rode to win
Majbrough is only four so can’t see him going the three mile must be going arkle and hopefully Ballyburn goes for the three mile race now to split them up
@@eamonnoneill1340 I was laughing to myself when I heard people saying Ballyburn could run over three miles this season. The more I watch back his beginners chase and the more I rewatch his Cheltenham win, the more I think he needs a trip. The ultimate round of Willie Mullins Bingo 😂 Thanks for watching 👍🏻
I dont understand the hype about maj he beat tullyhill who was out the back of the tv in the supreme and was then pulled up breathless at punchestown , Asian master was schooled around in third and is a stayer. Same hype with Blood Destiny on his chase debut last year and he ended up not even good enough to run at cheltenham . Ballyburn would beat Maj t any distance this year. Watch this space
TBF Blood Destiny blew his head at Cheltenham, Majborough won. Would he have beaten Sir Gino? Not in my opinion, but that was the most impressive chase debut I’ve seen this season, and I was skeptical about him jumping as a four year old. Thanks for watching 💪
@@russellstanton7583 Wasn’t Star De Mohaison a five-year-old when he won the Browns? I’d be surprised if Majborough went that trip this season, but he’s going to be a Gold Cup horse so it’s not impossible.
Great pod

Great show and panel !
Really appreciate you saying that 💪
The only podcast worth watching for 🐎.

100%. Watch a few race pods, and this is right up there.

Will you do be doing a video for Leopardstown Christmas festival?

Sounds good. Absolutely keep up the good work. Pint on me if you’re at Leopardstown any of the days.

the only podcast to discuss the Caldwell flop

I’m 90% that’s why he didn’t run at Cheltenham. Whole think is a farce. But hey, he might win a Welsh Grand National….

unless the second string is Majborough or Fact 2 File and then Mark Walsh will ride.
@ I ment more like il atlanttique or dancing city , I don’t class jp horses as second string if Walsh is on board
Great point
