Thanks, Danny. That’s a very useful video & I picked up a few new tips although I have been using EMS for a while. From a Volunteer Coordinator’s perspective the most useful thing for me is to be able to bring up more than 20 runners with the same name as I have had a few occasions where I can’t put people in the roster without their barcode & some others where people e-Mail in under a different surname to that which they are registered under.
Ashamed to say I’ve not yet used it on an event I’ve RD’d 🙄 - great, great video chaps. I’ll be using EMS from now on for sure! *closes off webfms windows on iPhone and iPad immediately*
@@mereteanTG DofE - Duke of Edinburgh. Under 18s who volunteer for 13 or 26 weeks and we have to report on their progress. 'someone' should be 'somewhere'.
Very good. As someone who isn't on a core team but does support them when I can, this has been an interesting walk through! Thanks Danny and James for taking the time to do this.
Thank you for this - I'd agree that EMS is largely very intuitive so there were only a couple of things that I hadn't already found through using it, and it was nice to hear plans for future enhancements being rolled out as they're ready.
Thank you so much for doing this. I have been using EMS for a few months now and found it very user friendly. I will share this with the rest of our RDs. Please can the creator of this system come and work with my employer as they could learn a lot about how to create a program! 😊
Great video, really useful - so many thanks! One question, when you cancel an event do the volunteers for that week (or better still, the event's full mailing list) get notified automatically of the cancellation or do you still need to email the group separately? Cheers, Adam
Great to see the innovation.. very exciting indeed. Hopefully fewer bugs than the Parkrun app which is totally unusable needing uninstalled and reinstalled almost every week
Can't wait for labels hope reports can be produced so you can see where DofE have been on the course
Fantastic run through, thank you! Lots of handy hints. I'm looking forward to the marshal labels going active.
Thank you!

Hurray!
Nice video. Thanks. Great to hear the Volunteer Summary report is going somewhere. We use it loads to help manage DofE volunteers. Cheers
Thanks for watching!

Thank you! Don't believe there's an auto notification, but best to ask parkrun in case.
Just in time for my first volunteer effort sometime in the next few weeks.
Awesome, hope it goes well!
It’s a good system and very easy to use!
Thank you
You're welcome!
👏👏
When is this new system?

The parkrun App has not been supported for several years and should be discarded.
@@414zk In that case they need to take it off the app store, it's a waste of time and total PoS
