It's an observatory scope. A 16-in Meade LX200 ACF. It's what the observatory at my college also has. You could buy it for a little over U.S. $18,000 if you wanted to.
You can't see it from where i live not even with the most advanced telescope in the world! Look up light polution maps look up Netherlands, Amsterdam i rest my case.
The fact that there are trillions of galaxies out there and we are just one Blows my mind. If so difficult to grasp The enormity of the Universe... and to think How many galaxies have Life on planets like we have life here. Incredible
plus an extra few thousand each time i want to actually see stuff for travel fees. As i am living in one of the most light polluted countries in one of the most light polluted cities in the world. and also is on average very cloudy. And have to travel for over a thousand miles to get a somewhat decent location that is actually dark.

what you are talking about are obviously what you can PHOTOGRAPH with this telescope and not what you can see through the eyepiece. There are people who own telescopes way bigger than yours and (we) know for a fact that these photos you show are long exposures that the human eye cannot replicate in real time viewing.
We landed on the moon 6 times. We have sent probes to all planets in the solar system. We have sent voyager 1 outside the solar system. What are you on about
This is not a 700k telescope, and this is not what you can see, but what you can image. With that scope, like with any scope of that size, you will hardly see any color. But that's the magic of YT. You post, ppl believe, end of the game 🙄
The telescope may not be 700k, but the whole setup is (observatory, ota, camera, eyepieces, filters, equatorial mount, etc). And obviously you can’t show the audience what looking through a scope looks like, what is he supposed to do- teleport everyone there to peer through the eyepiece?
Lmao. You can "see" as good or better with a 3000 telescope and better processing. Nobody is SEEING that color on anything. Only a camera with long exposures can pick up color and detail like that.
Can't describe how beautiful this is🥲
"Hamburger galaxy" 💀
Ahahahaha😂😂
borgir
Is not funny is real
It’s so great to see the Universe so close and be part of it 😊
Hoag’s object never fails to fascinate me it’s just so odd
I've observed everyone of these objects with telescopes far less expensive but THESE images are photographs
The Needle doesn't look like a needle at all. It looks like a spiral galaxy viewed near perfectly edge-on.
What’s this song called ?
Dwayne chéri This video is a precious jewell with all Stars dancing in the dark sky and so amazing colors chéri ...
meade lx600, 16" right? but images are obviously taken with dslr now with dedicated astrophotography camera.
I know of no Meade sct and Meade mount that approaches $700k. The largest Meade is the lx600 16" sct and that is about $20grand
Its a Observatory Telescope.
It’s so damn beautiful…
Is this yours scope, Damon? I really enjoy your videos and all the info you put into them.
it’s an observatory scope i think

Anyone know the background music of this video?
I really liked this and it’s probably because I’m a space nerd
Crab Nebula looks like the star of Jacob
Yes and you can see it with a 300$ Telescope too....
He actually did it with like 600$ i think
LOL so far away. @@sapphluv
@@sapphluvI know I can see the Andromeda galaxy with a 200 dollar telescope

Wow ❤❤. Beautiful beyond imagination.
What amount of zoom is it?
But is it visible with a naked eye or do you have to have a camera setup to get views like that?
u deserve more attention
these vids are amazing
I want that one 🔥
You can actually see this with eyes or these photos are long exposures?
Everything is so unbelievable large and at the same time it looks so tiny.
This telescope was 150,000 a few shorts ago.....
32k before that
Simply breathtaking
Is it visual or long exposure stacked image?
Eagle nebula is so fascinating....
That is not the true colour.
And also asking Damon are those raw images cause it is amazing
No those are stacked and stretched. Not at all what you can see.

Beautiful❤
Where can i buy one of those
$7,000 is enough for these !!!! Why $700k ?
Too see better it’s mostly big agency’s that buy these telescopes
@@dylanjames9671Yep. My $7000 rig will produce views almost as good in near real time. Are they saying these views are naked eye? In color?
Correction, this is what a camera would see.

A casual 700,000 dollar telescope sitting in the backyard 😂 steal it if you can that shit huge 😂
Do you actually see it like that? Or is it AI colored etc.
Can you look at saturn
First I need to live in place without light pollution.
And so more Dwayne Elliot chéri like u love mon amour ...

I can see it Theo ugh my phonk anyway
Bode’s nebula?
You can see all those objects with a 1000 dollar telescope too... 700k? Really? No...
Yea but the quality is better
Why does Saturn always look the same weather through a "amateur" telescope or a $700K telescope???
Ah yes I’m gonna eat a galaxy today The hamburger galaxy
is nobody gonna talk about how these are names like hamburger galaxy
It is not a nebula it is M 81 or Bode's *Galaxy*
alright guys whos the human that called that galaxy “hamburger galaxy” 😭😭😭
I always wonder what's going on way out there... what might be living in those far off places... the spirit of adventure and discovery I suppose.

When I was young we measured telescopes by diameter. Now it seems we use $$$$!
Telescopes are still measured by aperture, but good try grandpa.

Imma get one

Where is caseoh galaxy?
😅 700k ? Meade ? ... is a SC meade . It is M81 not M82 .... . A Photo is it with Newton 😮
7k can only get about a Meade 16 inch telescope and they are not good enough to see like this
Americans might eat the Hamburger galaxy someday,
(Sorry if that sounds rude)
