Former US president Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at his rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
Despite sustaining an injury to his ear from a flying bullet, the former president is still expected to attend the Republican National Convention on Tuesday.
“Donald Trump is anointed by God,” Mr Stein told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“Whether you believe in God or not, he had a divine intervention that saved his life.”
