Thanks for the kind works and comment Auto! Having the channel is a fun hobby and is growing slowly and steadily, one sub at a time!

Hey Spence! That was a good idea to stagger the ends to get the plywood to dry. I am surprised that just the ends that were down in the bed of your truck were the only areas that got wet (or at least are still wet this amount of time later). I didn't realize that ultralight was so expensive. I knew it would be more then regular plywood, but not that much more per sheet. Buy once, cry once I suppose. Can't wait to see your video series on making the new benches.

Howdy Russ! Thanks for commenting and as always, checking out the videos! My wife and I did a pretty good job of wrapping the ply up with plastic and a tarp but as with the best laid plans of men and mice, the severity of the weather was able to overcome our preparations and find a hole somewhere and humidify the first 8 inches or so of the downhill plywood. Same with the boxed bench underneath it all. I was not surprised and as a result, not worried. They should dry just fine and be ready to go. If there is any discoloration, it give the future benches an automatic history and a cool origin story! I hope to start construction on a from-scratch 3 x 6 SMART bench (used to be called the compact bench) and its SMART cart mid to late September. Once that is done, I will try my hand at my very first SMART station (aka Total Station) and its cart. The pre-made bench will be the last assembles and since it is assembly only with very little woodworking, I can build this one inside my basement workshop when the weather turns rather than under my tent when the snow is flying. The plan is to video it all and hopefully end up with some useful content!

@@sdsconstruction Huh, I guess I do not get notifications if you respond to my comments through RUclips anymore. I used to see any comments along the side of RUclips (where all of the "suggested videos" and "video notifications" were. I would also get message on gmail when someone left a comment. Apparently none of that happens anymore. I missed all of your responses to my comments I have left recently. Thanks for the heads up on the LED can light replacements! I just figured you were busy trying to wrap things up before going back to school. I can't believe you have been back to school for a week already! We have our first Superintendent's conference day this Thursday, then we have one on Tuesday, September 3, with open house that night, and we will have kids for the first day the next day on Wednesday, September 4th. I think you guys get out much earlier then we do at the end of the year though if memory serves me correctly. This Thursday begins the first of the lasts for me! Last first day superintendent's conference day, last first day with the kids, last open house etc.. Looking forward to that for sure!

You know Russ, I have had notifications change for no apparent reason too. AND, I have no idea on how to get those settings back to where I liked them for when and what I was notified about! Good luck with your last year!
