Sonny is so protective of Elizabeth in this scene. I was just watching a scene that takes place three years later in which Sonny is planning to kidnap Elizabeth in order to force Ric to return Carly. My, how times change!
And then she became a threat to everyone's happiness/status quo/family Dynamics.... The reason Elizabeth isn't with Jason isn't because she couldn't handle the life but Because she would've taken him away from Sonny, Carly and the life! She is the only one that could have gotten him to leave the mob! Everyone Jason has been with has had a connection to Sonny in some way and gained approval from Sonny/Carly because they didn't interfere in their agenda or the mob! The new writers and different head executive took over around 2002. He favored the actress who played Courtney then Kelly Monaco. That's why Jasam was dragged out.
Sonny has reminded me of my father so many times. Such a dynamic actor. It's so hard to pick a favorite. Its not just his looks that get me lost. Or he makes me go back to my father in such a double take. He has this extra flash if charisma I cant shake off.
One of the few times I liked Liz w/Sonny. He was looking after her as that is what Jason would want. For a short time they had a nice friendship...of course Carly hated it & went off on her just the same as going off on Liz b/c of Jason. Also one of the reasons Jason left town was b/c of Liz safety & that didn't work.
Sonny and Elizabeth became friends after the first time he got shot she's always been important to jason and at 9ne point sonny and Elizabeth were in laws when she married his half brother ric they've been friends al long time
Flashback made no sense because Sonny didnt see Jason's face he had his back to him. All these people cared about themselves not Jason or whats best for him. And why is Serol looking for Jason when its Sonny he needs to get rid of.
Because Jason's not just an enforcer he's an equal in the organization, you take out Jason you destroy Sonny! Everyone knows there is no organization w/o Jason! And this is why Jason and Elizabeth are not together!? Not because she couldn't handle the life? But Because she would've taken him away from Sonny, Carly and the life! Carlos was Sonny’s point man in Puerto Rico. In 98, he teamed up with Jerry Jacks to try and take down Jason and the organization. That’s when Sonny first came back briefly to put a stop to it. Sonny kept him on but in 2001, Carlos teamed up with Sorel to take down Sonny, which brought Jason back briefly. They stopped Carlos and Sorel and Jason whacked Carlos
sonny wants Carly all to himself so sonny broke them up by sleeping with carly
I LOVED Liz's hair in this scene! And I did like their relationship here and the way they showed how much Sonny cared about her.
