His "what" is so hilarious 😂 I love him so much!💓
Ikr lol
Wish we could be in the Winchester waiting for all this to blow over, but no.
Can I get any of you commenters a drink?
@@bbcradio1 We’ll have a Bloody Mary first thing
We're all in the Winchester, mate! :)
@@bbcradio1You've got red on you.
@@samarvora7185 It's just bolognaise
Gary King should have been mentioned in this, honestly one of his greatest characters
You're right, damn! 😎
"the idea of assaulting a pensioner with such terminal force just was an immediate" - I don't know how you can come up with that hilarious lines so smoothly. Always love listening to interviews with Pegg, he's just such a genuinely funny guy.
Simon is such a British treasure. First found him on Doctor who when I was a kid. Loved his movies ever since
Shaun of the Dead is older than I am, and yet it is still one of my favourite movies.
I hope we see a cameo in The Witcher at some point. I know he is good friends with Henry.
In 2024 it will the twenty year anniversary of Shaun of the Dead. That's nuts. Can't wait for that screening!
Thats so weird, It doesn't feel that long ago at all since it released, time goes fast when you get older man
Nuts!
you just have to love simon pegg there's no other way. I wish he had more recognition, I've loved him for years
Yeah, really you have no other choice because he's always the same funny ,sweet boy 🥰
‘Brings back Pavlovian joy’ - that’s such a nice expression. Now to incorporate it into my everyday lingo without sounding pretentious.
Ali Plumb is the very best interviewer!
This was a fun interview. The Neutron Cream prank footage -- the point of realization -- had me laughing out loud. Thank you.
It's interesting to see how much Ali has grown as a BBC institution. He was so chilled and relaxed with his wardrobe (amazing t-shirt by the way)
1:37 That's totally me. Can't hear this track without thinking of the one and only : Shaun of the dead.
Anytime I hear the other song I can't recall then name of it but its the sad song that plays after Shaun's breakup and they are in the winchester the words are " if you leave me now you take away the biggest part of me" ed says who the hell put this on and Shaun says it's on random. Everytime I hear that song I say its on random... sorryforthe long story
@@ezio_Winchester we're pretty sure that's Chicago - If You Leave Me Now. A soft rock classic.

poor ben, i love them😂
I thought that Star Trek Beyond was really excellent, didn't know Pegg co-wrote it. Wow.
It was great BECAUSE he co-wrote it.
I loved the Star trek movies, have watched them all several times...
such a good interview!
Can Simon Pegg so more movies please!
I know this is a very American thing to say, but I think I could listen to Simon Pegg just sit and talk for an entire day.
But yeah, Hot Fuzz! I don't think I laughed at or enjoyed the climax of a film more before or since. Bringing up the drop-kicked old lady was perfect - when I had to explain the movie to a friend I told him "It's kinda slow build, they spend alot of time setting the scene and the characters, but it all pays off. Just buckle up once he drop kicks the old lady and enjoy the ride."
How’s that for a slice of fried gold
Jessica Hynes actually coined that phrase.
Yes yes yes! All I’ve been waiting for!
When are we gonna get that "HARD CHEESE" movie with simon and henry cavil >?
Hello everyboy....we are hoping ur doing good... enjoy the day
Love the music choices for Shaun of the Dead! This video brought back great scenes from that movie!
You are THE BEST interviewer in the world!!!
He should be the BBC Radio MC/DJ. His voice is so smoothing
7:35 I didn't know that Chrisjen Avasarala was also in Star Trek (Beyond)
Awesome - I like him in MI
Rofl
Are there more clips from the prank? I'd love to see that.
I love simon
Just bought Shaun of the Dead on Blu-Ray. Never seen it!
Oh, you're in for a treat!

Did i think this video would make me laugh so hard at the end? "Not....a sausage."
I came here for benedict my fantasy worlds main leader
Amazing
The worst and most pointless question to ever ask anyone is 'Did you know it would become what it has?' No, of course they didn't because NO ONE CAN EVER POSSIBLY KNOW THAT.
Hi
Hi
Why's he look like Hannibal from "The Silence of the Lambs"
No word of the Boys? Damn ...
0:36 is that cillian murphy?
Pop Up Tees Calvin & Hobbes han and chewie shirt?
Is this actually recent?
Does anyone else think that they look like they could be cousins?
Too short...
The Worlds End is a better movie than Shaun of the dead!
should have asked him if he met any of Tom's slaves.
He owns slaves.
