Wow I didn't know that thwy were discouraging value boxes... I found it strange that there was a lack of value boxes when I went... I don't think that's the way forward for VanCity card show. Limiting your clientele when you just created this event seems risky
I was disappointed with the Vancity card show. I felt it was for high end collectors or investors, not for someone who likes collecting sets or vintage.
I couldn't agree more. There needs to be a show that is strictly for collectors, and not items marked up 500 percent. I walked in and saw a raw Jamie Drysdale young guns for $30.. ebay comp shows anywhere from $2-8.. I turned around and just left. I'll stick to ebay...
