Most of us would "die" for that "outdated" bathroom!!! I think it's quite lovely just as it is. That being said, I will look forward to what you add in the future.
My aunt had the same marble tile in her 100 year old Victorian terrace home, but it still looks great. I’m glad you didn’t cut the last part great 👍 🤣 Love from Australia 🇦🇺
I love listening to your practical advice. When the music selection comes on it is such a loud contrast to your soothing voice. Maybe if the volume was the same I would enjoy it more. Keep doing the
The bathroom is lovely. You’ve resolved the pedestal sink issue (no storage). I would only do something about the shower rods. The foot massage and soak feature in the shower is awesome! I wonder if they also used it as a baby bath.
Rebecca, this is my first comment on your content. I’m just loving your videos. I’ve been decorating for years and love it. I’ve been following many designers. I think you are one of the best that I’ve ever followed. Perhaps, the best. I am loving this series ‘using what you have’ as I too have moved to a new home. I was in my dream home for 20 years and now with the kids gone we moved to a small town in a little bit smaller house that was totally vanilla. You’re helping me figure out how I can make this vanilla home into a classy home with what I have. Thanks for providing such valuable contact. You are excellent at what you do.
You're so funny and positive! I learn more from your attitude than interior design. Thank you for being a role model. I can imagine myself growing older as fabulous as you are.
Gorgeous, I actually like the marble as much as there is. I would only change the bathroom basin and maybe the shower screen with those funky things and swap out the tub in the bottom of the shower but other than that its great. I think you have made it beautiful.
Love this series, and loved what you did with your ensuite bathroom, shows how thinking outside the box and reimagining what you have, plus adding some little extra’s is game changing - thumbs up from me!!!
Rebecca please keep the bathtub it's amazing. I saw 3 different utubes on Judy Garland's husband's abandoned art deco house and it's all black and white with accent of yellow drapes. It was time less. Yes some of the fixtures need updated but the marble is timeless eloquence like Jaclyn Kennedy Onassis.
It might not be your dream bathroom but I love every single thing you did with it Rebecca. I like the idea of taking your time doing your home up as you settle down and get to know your new home. The house will speak to you and if you are silent then you will hear it!!!! ❤️🇮🇪🙏💕
It is outstanding! Love the natural elements you brought into the very white room. I think a nice rug would look amazing too. You aced it... again! Way to go!
Rebecca, I am loving your bathroom (OASIS!!) and that MARBLE is absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing. I find that a bathroom large or small can be a fabulous, luxurious, and wonderful place of calm and relaxation and that is what you have done. I can literally stay in this bathroom for hours. Thank you so much for sharing your design, accessorizing, and decorating ideas and tips dawlinka. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️
Loving this series. You will be really thankful for the towel warmer in the winter. Maybe even some in floor heating when you renovate? Just saying from a Canadian neighbour to the north.
Great use of your existing stuff but I must say your bathroom renovation in San Diego was AMAZING! A glimpse in this video stole my heart away! That was so modern and classic.
I love the way you warmed up the bathroom, would you also put a small area rug in the center? I also like how you are using what you already have in different rooms of the house. Thanks for all your great advice over the years.
Rebecca you are amazing! ❤️ I am a member of the design sessions and I cannot stress enough what a game changer they are. I have finally understood what wasn't right with my space and started to implement what I've learnt! Lots of love!
Not too shabby for a temporary bathroom! A personal, little spa retreat and the white marble at least makes a good blank canvas to play on. Amazing what one piece of art can do, it gives the space such a lift, adds warmth and ties the rest of the design together. The contemporary vertical mirror and lighting, bring in that finishing touch.
Kim I love your bathroom . I think marble bring a lot of beauty in the room and the gold and teak wood give it a great accent . It breaks up and give it a nice highlight within all the marble look.
I would have been overwhelmed by all that marble, luxurious as it is. But you made it work, Rebecca. Mental note to self: use lighter woods to break up overwhelming marble space. I would have been scared to have anything like a carafe and a glass in that bathroom. The shower is interesting. Love the tub at the bottom of it. I always wanted a towel warmer. Jealous. Scott is so hilarious. Until there was a close up I was creeped out by what was on that towel warmer, lol. Thank you for allowing your fans to see how you are going about doing your lovely home.
You have done an excellent job of using what you have to make the space work for you. Honestly, after all that, the only thing I would change eventually would be the shower. Keep all the tricks of it, but change the look of the enclosure. Great job! ❤️❤️
I love this series, moving is also expensive so sometimes we have to use what we had while saving up for what we would rather have! Can't wait for more videos x
The bathroom looks beautiful and I can only imagine you will make it even more dreamy once you renovate it! I have to comment on your FLAWLESS make up and gorgeous eye lashes!! And the green dress also looks marvelous!
After all those years of filming your projects and videos, I like the fat you are still so real. Beautiful personal touches... The too much of the tiles white & veining actually was beautifully camoflaged
What a great series! I think we've all done it - bought things that were PERFECT for our last home, but can't quite figure out how to use them in the new space. Your new home is beautiful!
I love using what you got. Your bathroom turned out great. I love how you added a few things and transformed your bathroom. My bathroom is blue and peach 1950’s tile, I would love to be able to make it spa like. 🤔
Hi Rebecca! I have a very nice corner jacuzzi tub in my master bath that I just love and use all the time. I can’t understand why they are sort of falling out of fashion and being replaced by the new stand alone tubs. I guess people just don’t want to be bothered by having to clean or maintain them. It’s just so relaxing to sit in all that bubbling hot water! Love all your videos and can’t wait for the next one!
I love that you’re showing how to update what you have. I’m no eco warrior, but the thought of all that beautiful stone some day getting demolished really saddens me. The heated towel rail is just a different shape of the central heating systems and radiators we have in the UK. Although we are getting more underfloor heating, as standard radiators are usually pretty ugly. I love the warmth you’ve added with the wood.
I could be so blessed to have a marble bathroom like yours! The only thing I would change would be those side poles on the shower. Love your videos. 👍🏻
Wow, all that marble was overwhelming but you really toned it down with all the natural elements. It looks more like a spa now. You did an awesome job as usual.👍
Looking forward to 👀 everything. You're absolutely amazing at what you do Rebecca. I recently discovered your channel and I am in LOVE!!!! I will be incorporating some of your ideas in my new home just by using what I have. Thank you for all you do for your RUclips community. Keep shining like the star that you are.
Bathroom looks good with the warm tones throughout! The painting does help break up the marble wall. Awww- the demise of the bidet!😞. A wonderful addition to any bathroom - freestanding or a toilet attachment! 👍🏻
Thank you for doing this series. It’s making me look around at my own home and see how I can use what I have in new and exciting ways. Love your content Rebecca!
Yay another video!! I just love you, I've been here from almost the beginning of your journey. Love all your tips and tricks you have shown. They have helped me in my own home and I get a lot of compliments because of it , I owe it to you! Much love! St george, Utah!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rebecca, you look so good with that green dress your given me a vibe of the beautiful "Joan Collins" when she was on "Dynasty" The on suite exudes sophistication & elegance with a touch of Spa ambience, brilliant decor. BTW, I love the marble, however, I agree with you regarding those bars on the shower they need to go. Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos
Wow! You really have it classy! the basics are there for sure, then adding your large print and the side table and all the natural things. It is really pretty. The only thing you need is a rug to step out when you come out of the bath. All that marble could be slick. Isn't it something with the jets in the shower. Inventive back then. Enjoy!!! I like it. Joyce
The natural elements and candles add so much warmth to this master bathroom! It's a very luxurious, tranquil space. Wow!
Most of us would "die" for that "outdated" bathroom!!! I think it's quite lovely just as it is. That being said, I will look forward to what you add in the future.
I know it looks like a futuristic spa🥰
I was thinking it was going to be a pink toilet and tub, linoleum flooring. Ummmm it's ALL fabulous marble, clean and white. I adore it.
@@ashleys4652 100,000 thumbs up! Marble is so gorgeous.
That marble is actually gorgeous! Love the way you warmed it up with the wood accents. 😍
I want to see it ALL!
This is a great lesson for moving into a new home: Use what you have and live in it a while. Great advice.
I love that bathroom, and the very large painting, too. Some folks would be absolutely thrilled to have a bathroom like yours.
Yes to the basement! You and the finger, along with Scott and the lashes are hilarious! Love from Kansas. 💘
My aunt had the same marble tile in her 100 year old Victorian terrace home, but it still looks great. I’m glad you didn’t cut the last part great 👍 🤣 Love from Australia 🇦🇺
It was SO GREAT to see Scott!! Sure do miss him!!
I love listening to your practical advice. When the music selection comes on it is such a loud contrast to your soothing voice. Maybe if the volume was the same I would enjoy it more. Keep doing the
I feel the same way. I wonder how many people have stopped watching because the music is so jagged and unsuitable?
Honestly I love the marble. Now the poles I agree. But the marble Is gorgeous 😍.
100,000 thumbs up!
I think it’s a great bathroom! You put a very “CHIC” touch and warmed it up.
I like how you warmed the space with the light natural wood.
The bathroom is lovely. You’ve resolved the pedestal sink issue (no storage). I would only do something about the shower rods. The foot massage and soak feature in the shower is awesome! I wonder if they also used it as a baby bath.

How you manage and keep track of all you have is AMAZING!
Love the natural woods tones, rattan tones and the gold in the art work, makes the entire room look warmer as was rather cold beforehand.
That painting really does break up the cold look of all of the stone! The whole room looks so much more inviting now! Love it!!❤️
You're so funny and positive! I learn more from your attitude than interior design. Thank you for being a role model. I can imagine myself growing older as fabulous as you are.
Its a beautiful spa- like bath. Your touch made it even classier. Keep up the good work

Lol. Love this! I hope your advice in the first few minutes isn’t lost. It’s so important to live in a place a little bit before a remodel.
Always perfection, wit and humour, you never disappoint, best wishes from Ireland 🇮🇪!
Hello from Derry!! 🇮🇪❤️🇮🇪
This was the first room you showed us of your new home, on paper. Can’t wait to see this one.
Wow!! That bathroom is pure luxury!
Noooo way does this look outdated!!!!!! It’s Absolutely Gorgeous!!!!! Wish my darn dated kitchen looked that good!! 🥰
You adapted everything perfectly! That Master bathroom looks amazing! The wood elements warm up the abundance of that stone!
Rebecca please keep the bathtub it's amazing. I saw 3 different utubes on Judy Garland's husband's abandoned art deco house and it's all black and white with accent of yellow drapes. I can truly appreciate you and you’re reinforcing “to use what you have”. I love it

EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN, that bathroom is just beautiful
Rebecca, you're the stuff. This is just beautiful.
I think your comment will make Rebecca smile lots lol 😂 made me smile ......👍
Exactly Rebecca, "repurpose" absolutely LOVE what you have done in your master bath, this would be Heaven for me, I would never leave 😊
This woman can do no wrong, amazing, as always! Where can I find the candles, they look so real!
Great use of your existing stuff but I must say your bathroom renovation in San Diego was AMAZING! A glimpse in this video stole my heart away! That was so modern and classic.
I would describe your bathroom as “beautiful simplicity “. I renovated my master bath 2 summers ago and still love it!!!
Love the natural touches so much with the marble! I say it’s pretty darn perfect!
I love the way you warmed up the bathroom, would you also put a small area rug in the center? I also like how you are using what you already have in different rooms of the house. Thanks for all your great advice over the years.
The master bedroom project is so lovely; can't wait to see the master bath result!
Rebecca you are amazing! ❤️ I am a member of the design sessions and I cannot stress enough what a game changer they are. I have finally understood what wasn't right with my space and started to implement what I've learnt! Lots of love!
That console is perfect for this bathroom.

Love your bathroom. Team Basement.
I love this series! I want a jetted tub in my bathroom, and the shower features with the jets on your feet looks pretty cool too.
How did you hang the big painting on your bathroom wall?
Kim I love your bathroom . I think marble bring a lot of beauty in the room and the gold and teak wood give it a great accent . It breaks up and give it a nice highlight within all the marble look.
I want to see your basement!🙋🏽♀️
LUV these 'Use What You Have' videos!!
Love how you are using what you have and embracing your new home!
Wow! The bathroom looks terrific n the brown enhanced it. It's amazingly beautiful
Amazing transformation. Loving this series

Great to see a realistic moment in interior design were you make th best of what you have.
It’s your own personal spa! Love your personal touches. Greetings from Australia.xx
You have done an excellent job of using what you have to make the space work for you. Honestly, after all that, the only thing I would change eventually would be the shower. Keep all the tricks of it, but change the look of the enclosure. Great job! ❤️❤️

Beautiful personal touches... The too much of the tiles white & veining actually was beautifully camoflaged
Haha Scott is too funny! The bathroom looks great. It’s amazing how you make a bathroom look luxurious and elegant.
I ❤️ your ideas about reusing and rearranging things you have!
What a great series! I think we've all done it - bought things that were PERFECT for our last home, but can't quite figure out how to use them in the new space. Your new home is beautiful!
military wife and moved over 20 times in 22 years of active duty. I used flat sheets & liquid starch for wall paper.
I love using what you got. Your bathroom turned out great. I love how you added a few things and transformed your bathroom. My bathroom is blue and peach 1950’s tile, I would love to be able to make it spa like. 🤔
One of mine is 1930s apricot and black tiles and the other is 1970s blue tile (with floral accents) 🤪
I like the colors of my bathroom but not sure what colors to bring in. I share this bathroom room with my husband and son. 🙃
It 's a beautiful bath room ...NOT OUT DATED !!! Iwould not change it.LOVE IT♥️

You made that bathroom look so beautiful and the wood softened the look😊
Bathroom looks good with the warm tones throughout!
The painting does help break up the marble wall.
Awww- the demise of the bidet!😞. A wonderful addition to any bathroom - freestanding or a toilet attachment! 👍🏻
Rebecca, you are so clever to use that basket to cover the hole. I love your designs.
Your bathroom is gorgeous.
I've seen the preview several times. I can't wait. Alarm is set.
Thank you Rebecca, another fabulous video!👍🏽
Absolutely Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️

I simply love collaborating with you. Your style and class make a statement. RERE your houses are luxe.
Your bathroom sure looks like my dream bathroom! Lol.
I would love to see your basement.
