One significant how needs to be on the MeTV Toons lineup. 'Batman: The Animated Series'. Heck, alot of WB Animation's output from the 90's should be there.
They Should Add The Original Pink Panther Cartoon Show From The 1960s It Used To Be On METV’s Saturday Morning Cartoons But Was Replaced By The Woody Wood Pecker Show It Also Used To Be On The Original Boomerang Before They Rebranded It
You never know- Filmation's D.C heroes, the 1960's version(with the exception of Shazam[1981]), owned by Warner, just might be on MeTV Toons in a shorts block with Hanna-Barbera's heroes from the 1960's, Ruby-Spears' Mighty Man & Yukk and Space Ace and possibly DePatie-Freleng' Super 6 cartoon shorts!!!
They'll likely add them in as time progresses. SuperFriends, Tiny Toon Adventures, Batman, The Filmation Superheroes Show, The Hanna-Barbera Heroes Show, Taz-Mania, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain.
Hong Kong Phooey is a fantastic choice. I really want to see if PlasticMan ever gets to see the light of day again. I know there are DVDs, and I have them, but they deserve a larger audience than DVD will reach.
"The Superman/Aquaman Adventure Hour", "Spiderman" (1966), "Spider and his Amazing Friends", "Thundarr the Barbarian", and Filmation's "Flash Gordon" should be added.
I would love if they could get as many 80s “action” cartoons they can. Yeah I know they were glorified commercials for their toylines, but I loved them. @@ArtieArchives so When the Hanna-Barbera studio opened in 1957, the most inexpensive way to include background music in a film was to license a stock music library. Hanna-Barbera signed television deals for two very popular ones-the Langlois Filmusic library, “composed” by Jack Shaindlin, and the Capitol Hi-Q library, created in 1956 from the works of numerous composers, but updated by Capitol record every year. Ruff and Reddy cartoons used these libraries. So did three of the four seasons of The Huckleberry Hound Show and two of the three seasons of The Quick Draw McGraw Show. (Afterwards, Hoyt Curtin was hired by Hanna-Barbera to compose cartoon cues that belonged to the studio). studio). When the Huckleberry Hound DVD was released in 2005, Capitol still had rights to the stock music and a deal was struck to clear it for home video use. That soon changed. The music, as Earl explained, had reverted to the composers or their heirs, and trying to get it approved for DVD was thwarted by demands from two estates. He rather forlornly expressed the feeling the odds were against Quick Draw cartoons-at least the the ones with the Shaindlin and Capitol music-ever being released on home video.

Well I noticed that they don't have any shows listed that were done by filmation. But if they can ever get the rights to air filmation shows they definitely have to add He-Man, She-Ra and maybe the filmation's Ghostbusters. Also I would love to see them show Back to the future the animated series and Bill and Ted's excellent adventures
Fat Albert would be a great choice, but because of the controversy regarding Bill Cosby, I guess that may never happen.
Filmation is kinda tricky. Currently Universal owns the rights to most of the Filmation library with some exceptions: Star Trek: The Animated Series (Paramount) and Shazam & The New Adventures of Gilligan (Warner Bros/Discovery). There are more exceptions, I'm sure, but those are ones I've read about. I wonder if Universal has any current plans for the Filmation stuff that they control? Doesn't seem like any of those are on Peacock...
@@thevirginian5746 well I keep hearing rumors that there's going to be a new He-Man movie coming out but like I told other people that's all the more reason why it's actually to their benefit to lease out the older cartoons to somebody like me TV toons because right now yeah sure they could put it on peacock but peacock and Paramount plus are both streaming services who's long-term existence is still to be seen and it's actually would make a whole lot more sense to make a quick Buck by leasing out filmation cartoons that they're not currently doing anything with and well! It's filmation. It has the whole well it's rather goofy written but it's also very nostalgic. Will peacock isn't exactly a service that's about nostalgia. MeTV toons it's all about nostalgia. And leasing something out they don't actually have to do much with it just simply yeah maybe find what's sitting in a vault and then sit back and wait for the payday.
I think they should add
1)Speed Buggy
2)Wheely & the Chopper Bunch
3) The Hair Bear Bunch
4) Plastic Man's Comedy Show
5) Space Ghost
5)
How about the banana splits?
great choices!
The Littles
You Forgot The Dukes.
Incredible hulk 1982 cartoon
Disney
One significant how needs to be on the MeTV Toons lineup. 'Batman: The Animated Series'. Heck, alot of WB Animation's output from the 90's should be there.
It would be nice for them to add Peanuts specials to the rotation, but I'm not sure due to Apple TV+ owning the rights to them
They should add The Pink Panther Show
Amazon prime has an entire Pink panther cartoon channel
for sure!
Comfrimed now
They Should Add The Original Pink Panther Cartoon Show From The 1960s It Used To Be On METV’s Saturday Morning Cartoons But Was Replaced By The Woody Wood Pecker Show It Also Used To Be On The Original Boomerang Before They Rebranded It
Dastardly and Muttley spin off to be on new tv toons
for sure!
We need Transformers, GI Joe, He Man, TMNT, and Garfield and Friends.
What I'd like to see -
1. Earthworm Jim
2. Taz-Mania
3. Any Batman cartoon other then Batman: TAS
4. SilverHawks
5. Thundarr the Barbarian
1968-1969 batman cartoon
Batman is a DC character (owned by Warner Bros/Discovery), so probably not. Warner/Discovery doesn't seem to like DC Comics stuff outside of MAX...
They need to have Jabberjaw!
YESSS
They NEED to add Swat Kats!
They'll likely add them in as time progresses. SuperFriends, Tiny Toon Adventures, Batman, The Filmation Superheroes Show, The Hanna-Barbera Heroes Show, Taz-Mania, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain.
Super Friends is already been confirmed, they just started it on October 2024 soon.
Dinosaucers. People were probably expecting me to say Pizza Cats, Star Saber, Ninja Robots, or Dragon Warrior.
Throwing this as a literal wild card.
Pokémon.
I can think of one better anime:
King of the Hill.
Na, Pokemon doesn't fit the channel's vibe at the moment. It would be cool though if they air the original Astro Boy.
@@mhmrules That's not an animé!
Just some I want to see are Thundarr the Barbarian, The Littles, Transformers, G.I. Joe, ThunderCats, and Inch High, Private Eye.
"Spiderman and his Amazing Friends"
MeTv Toons will rotate the schedules every 6 months and so on
maybe sooner than 6 months, maybe every 2-3 either or im pumped for the channel
The new Woody Woodpecker Show from Fox Kids should air. they're already airing the original.
Hong Kong Phooey is a fantastic choice. I really want to see if PlasticMan ever gets to see the light of day again. I know there are DVDs, and I have them, but they deserve a larger audience than DVD will reach.
I have both of those DVDs.
@@ruffian-wl1nd so do I, but it's just easier to have it on the TV...
"The Superman/Aquaman Adventure Hour", "Spiderman" (1966), "Spider and his Amazing Friends", "Thundarr the Barbarian", and Filmation's "Flash Gordon" should be added.
Batman the animated series one of the most popular cartoons of all time.
I would love if they could get as many 80s “action” cartoons they can. Yeah I know they were glorified commercials for their toylines, but I loved them. I know stuff owned by Hasbro would be hard to get, but there are plenty of others they could go for. They could even have a 1 or 2 hour block of these shows weekday afternoons.
that would be sick!
It’s also missing Xiaolin Showdown, which was originally advertised for the network.
It's coming later
i saw! soon itll be on air!
Heman and master of the universe
'He-Man', 'She-Ra', and 'Bravestarr' need to be on there since Universal owns them along with 'Woody Woodpecker', and 'Rocky & Bullwinkle'.
1. BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES
2. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES
3. SWAT KATS
4. THE PIRATES OF DARK WATER
5. THE CENTURIONS
Number two may not be possible due to Viacom owning the franchise, and they may not want the Turtles on a non-Viacom network.

They should alternate schedules every couple of months.
Agreed
I want some Mighty Mouse on MeTV TOONS
My wife is surprised the classic 1990s Sailor Moon and fhe original The Powerpuff Girls aren't in the lineup.
Maybe later on they will be added
If you are talking about Sailor Moon, I don't think it will be added, as the dub that would be used would be the DiC dub, which is owned by Wildbrain, but Wildbrain does not have the license from Toei to release the dub (and they may never get it, as chances are Toei Animation would not allow the DiC dub and even the Cloverway dubs of S and SuperS to be legally shown ever again in favor of the Viz dub, which keeps the anime uncut and true to how it was shown in Japan).
As for The Powerpuff Girls, it can happen (mainly the original series that premiered in the late 1990's), it will have to depend on whether or not Warner Bros. will allow their past Cartoon Network exclusive shows from that era to air on MeTV Toons (especially since CN is doing the Checkered Past block, which airs some of these classic Cartoon Cartoons).
They need to add classic rock band cartoon shows like Cattanooga Cats, Banana Splits and the Impossibles.

@@Sometopcatfan What do you mean?
