I saw the video where Danielle said that her doggy order fell through and that she mentioned you Daniel and that she was going to be getting a Giant Schnauzer. I was a little surprised to hear that. Lol It's a small world. Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you and your family.
AWWWW 🥰 LOVE THIS VIDEO! TOBY IS JUST THE PERFECT HUGGABLE SIZE LOL HE’S SUCH A SWEET WELL BEHAVED BOY, HE IS JUST SO CUTE! LOL 😂 YOU SPEAK TURKEY 🦃 VERY WELL HAHAHAHAHA

I like your propagation set up, Mr. NG loves propagating. Pyrenese paw is definitely a thing...I grew up with them, lol. I didn't realize the difference with the Pyrenees being nocturnal... interesting!
Could you do a video on your GS training as far as being a house dog and how they do inside ? We have a two Great Pyrenees who patrol outside and a shitzu inside. Thanks
Great video! We're on our second giant schnauzer. I love the breed but they are shadow dogs where they follow us around all day and they hate not being with us. We're getting a farm with sheep so I'm thinking we should get anatolian shepherds or great Pyrenees to babysit the sheep since they don't seem to have the same need to be in their owner's shadow all day...
I can't recommend Great Pyrenees enough for livestock protection. We have a few and hardly ever lose livestock to predators! Our giant schnauzer is better at companionship and herding than the Pyrenees. I love them both very much!
@@CopperheadRoadHomestead thanks for the recommendations! I've heard of giant schnauzers being used for herding but haven't been able to find a lot of videos. Sounds like a great balance!
I’ve heard good things about Skansen in California. Happy Trails in western Kentucky. There is a giant schnauzer Facebook group that might be able to help find good reputable breeders.
... zone 6 here... love my hobby greenhouse of 25 years ... the cuttings will not root much nor die a temp of 55* F ....but growth begins above 55* ... also the plants need and want sun power... just isn’t enough around till March...unless under lights ...roots like the cooler temps...but really can take off from bottom heat... remember what your plan was when you have 100 potted up small bushes or trees ...in a year or two ... just sayin ...
Yes. Dogs have hearing better than ours and they want whatever is out there to know not to mess with him and his family. Under his protection. I try to praise him for this...even though it can be annoying.
I have a mini schnauzer who barks to no end LOL, and I have a standard schnauzer who only barks when necessary which is nice she alerts us but doesn’t go on and on. I guess the giant falls more into the mini category with barking
I have had a mini. It isn't yippy like a mini. He doesn't bark a ton while in the house unless he is playing with my kids...my oldest taught him to chase him through the house barking at him...very annoying. Right now, he is laying quietly on the couch.
Try to find a good groomer and get him groomed properly. He has far too much hair on. Then he'll be happy to stay inside with his family. Giants are happiest when they are with their people.
We have two Giants! One is a Toby. They are amazing babysitters.and they will definitely go where ever you go.
I love my guy so much...the best dog we have ever had!
I’m always impressed with his obedience! Good boy Toby! I like all them birds! Makes me so hungry!
That was only a handful of the MANY we have right now...it will be time to process some soon!
Good Video ! The Riesenschnauzer is one oft the best all around working Breed!
I love him so much. And he is pretty helpful on the farm, too!
What a good boy! And a sweetie too! that was fun seeing all the birds too
He’s the best! Love him so.

I didn't know she was gonna do that...but who wouldn't want one of these dogs on their homestead!? Thanks, Margie!
Toby is beautiful and well trained.
Thank you. He is the BEST!
Great dogs!

I just love Toby! What a great friend! ❤👍
Agreed. He brings lots of joy to our lives.
I think I’m in love!!
He really is a great dog!
Nocturnal by nature , not that I hate ya 😂 I didn’t know you spoke turkey. Goodnight Toby, and Daniel.

Love you!
I love you, too!

Propagating is the best! I am glad Pyrenees paw has been corroborated. It is true for all of ours!
Weed 'Em & Reap send me, I'm from Quebec (Canada)
Nice to have ya here! How are things in the great white north!?

Sure! I should do another video on my inside dogs soon!
Toby needs to put some work in too👍 If it works keep it up.

Could you recommend a breeder ?
I’ve heard good things about Skansen in California. Happy Trails in western Kentucky. There is a giant schnauzer Facebook group that might be able to help find good reputable breeders.
Copperhead Road Homestead Thank you
What breeders do you recommend? He looks lovely!
The most well known breeder is Skansen in California. My guy came from a very small breeder in Illinois.
I tried a heating pad but my plants grew down towards the heat
I haven’t checked the roots on these yet...but there is definitely some green growth on them. I have high hopes for them!

Hi, I’m waiting to my Giant to be born. Is your guy a big barker when unnecessary?
Yes. Dogs have hearing better than ours and they want whatever is out there to know not to mess with him and his family. Under his protection. I try to praise him for this...even though it can be annoying.

@@CopperheadRoadHomestead ok good to know, that’s what I want
Where did you buy your dog
An at home Breeder in Illinois. I’m not sure he does it anymore.
We are hoping for a litter soon. Check out west Kentucky giant schnauzers on Facebook.
Try to find a good groomer and get him groomed properly. He has far too much hair on. Then he'll be happy to stay inside with his family. Giants are happiest when they are with their people.
I usually groom him. He just got a good groom the other day. He is almost ALWAYS with us. I work from home.
American cheese!?!?
Huh? I don’t remember saying anything about cheese in this video. I’ll have to go back and watch to see what you’re talking about.
Do you guys butcher your animals
Not our dogs, but pigs, rabbits, and chickens, yes!
