I love these types of videos. I had no idea bout Renown or Vein until now, so going to add them to my wishlist. Also another survival game that isn't here, but sort of always feels new is v-rising when it gets it's yearly update.
you can play beta Vein now, its pretty interesting and has a lot of unique elements. its janky but promising.

Vein for sure, I was a backer of Dead Matter, it was to take place in my home province, I think Vein will be what DM was supposed to be originally. Road to Tarkov looks very interesting and quite deadly, might need that one, too. Yes, you've earned a like on this video. 😃

Renown looks like what Reign of Kings should have been before it was abandoned by the devs.
Too bad it will probably never be finished

@17:16 renown has a long way to go to include cavalry , carts , and open world . Right now it’s just a match that starts and both teams build a base and fight , still fun tho

been waiting for nightingale and enshrouded for a couple years now. hadn't heard of under a rock but looks like my style too, to add a bit of levity and cuteness to the genre

ENSHROUDED!! January 24th! Can't wait! Looking forward to Under a Rock, and Nightingale as well. Perhaps because I am truly tired of games regarding the destruction of mankind and fighting zombies. Something a bit more lighthearted exploring, building, and fighting mobs - Valheim was wonderful ! I'm doing a 2nd playthrough now since they have added mistlands since I last played.

Road to Vostok looks like one of those upcoming EFT competitors and im all for it. Looks visually amazing for a solo dev, hope he can start getting some help developing thing to make things go faster.
Vein also looks nice , i enjoy Project Zomboid and would love for a more FPS/Third person style of that kinda game with its complexity with its mods.
Also i highly recommend checking out Once Human, also a survival horror FPS Looter Shooter game coming out nearly 2024-2025. Beta out now as im typing this (Dec 29, 2023.)

I was one of the backers burned by Dead Matter, Your description of Vein reminds me of how the devs advertised Dead Matter when they first launched the KS and I'm probably going to wait before I even WL Vein, let alone buy the game.
Definitely hoping to try out Derelicts. Enjoying the building mechanics I'm seeing here.
Those games that are passion projects by a solo dev always hit a little bit differently, can't wait to try it out as well!

Enshrouded: January 2024... tried the open demo, felt like it has great potential!! Will definitely be streaming / recording it when it comes out. I know it's a small thing, but the fact that you can actually dig a cave if you want to it's great to me xD

Yep but from this list enshrouded is the only that is not a survival game it's an arpg but you don't die if you don't eat you don't have your base invaded by ennemi it's more a Minecraft and Zelda like

I absolutely LOVE everything I have seen from Under a Rock so far. Nordic Trolls truly deserves all the attention the game gets and can get. I'm very much looking forward to playing this game!
It's is somewhat comparable to Valheim, but in the sense that all I've seen from UaR so far outshines Valheim in many ways! Congrats to the studio with this amazing work :)
Nightingale seems like a very interesting world as well!

My two so far are Once Human and Arena Breakout. Both of which I have played for 80+ hours each. They are both amazing games, cannot wait!

I'm in the Nightingale playtest and it's shaping up well, needs some polish. The card system is pretty ambitious, can't tell yet if it will come together well.
Vein looks very cool, the fact that I can play it on my Linux setup is tempting me to download it right now 😄

DERELICTS DEMO NOW! This have been one of my most anticipated games for a while now.
Several of these games look promising but Early Access is so difficult to trust.
What I have been waiting forever is a game that takes us to the NEXT stage beyond simple survival games.I want to see various tribal themes where those tribes might be friendly and used for trading or hostile and move around attacking players and towns.NPC's within the towns would also join your attempt to protect the towns/villages.
Gathering and or finding items within buildings is old now we all been there done that for thousands of hours and need to see the genre improve.
Funcom made Anarchy online too, that was quite amazing for it's day imo
95% of the time I watch then go about my day. Decided to actually like and subscribe. Love my survival sandbox games .
I really hope nightingale is good, and on steam deck because it seems to have some cool ideas and an amazing world/atmosphere.
Derelict looks awesome, fingers crossed for dune I’ve sunk too many hrs into Conan exiles as it’s my favorite survival on console, rooted has me optimistic too.

As a casual gamer, there aren't many survival games I'm interested in. Most of them seem copy pasted, with the same old realistic textures with boring maps and boring gunplay. I usually default back to modded Minecraft with shaders whenever I get the itch for a comfy survival experience. Enshrouded reminds me a lot of it and it's such a beautiful surprise. It truly brings back the beauty of combat, farming, BUILDING and exploration. The game is just so wonderful with its artistic, semi-realistic style and I'm just dying to play it myself.
Oh man, I remember checking out VEIN last year when it was completely barebones. It looks much more like a game now.
Nightingale has been looking better each time the devs make a showcase video. Am hoping it doesnt flop.
Funcom is the developer of Conan Exiles. But they also developed Age of Conan which was an MMO back in 2008. It was a popularish MMO and saw a resurgence when it went F2P.
I think VEIN is my dream game, ever since I played Project Zomboid, I wanted it to be crossed with 7 days to die. INCREDIBLY excited for it!
I am looking forward to Enshrouded. I do hope they do more optimization on it though. The demo ran worse than any game I've played, struggling on FPS the whole time. Will be looking into Road to Vostok and Under a Rock more too!
Nightingale is a great game already and improving with every test. The Enshrouded demo was absolutely addicting. I agree it has the potential to be as big or bigger than Valheim. I really enjoyed Valheim but not as instantly as I enjoyed Enshrouded. Right away Enshrouded felt great.
I have high faith for Dune Awakening. Funcom has done survival games very good in the past and I am sure they could do it again.

Renown = Reign Of Kings, which was an absolutely blast of a game especially with friends.....until abandoned by the devs. I hope Renown is all it "should" be to finish it off

I’m most excited about Enshrouded because of its voxel-based world. I’m a huge 7D2D fan and see this as possibly the game to finally turn my attention away 7D2D.

Vein reminds me of The Dead Linger , I always wanted that game to succeed. If vein is like project zomboid and I can create all sorts of characters I’m down for it

Derelicts, Nightengale, and Enshrouded. 2024 gonna be lit! Another title that peaks my interest is Palworlds. Dev kinda let a lot of people down with Craftopia though so not holding my breath on that game.
