There are lots of options with pivot tables and really you need to study it for a good few hours looking at examples. You can use counta or sum, depending on what you need to get out of it. Hey ! Unless I'm mistaken, I didn't see it mentionned so I ask the question - is there any way to cross analyse answers from an anonymous survey ? I guess not, I was wondering if google forms had an option to see what answers were correlated even if we couldn't access the identities...
anonymous survey or one where you have the email addresses, it makes no difference to the analysis. To have correlated information you'd need to ask the questions in the form to correlate against, usually age, generder, experience, job type etc.

When adding the 'value' settings and changing it to % of row, should we only use COUTA, and what are the other options for?

howto delete multiple responses, it was still in the saved files although theyre no longer need. i deleted thre names but still in my spreadsheet

Why is there no "Pivot table" option under my data tab?
Try creating a new sheet on your drive and see if it appears. Might be an old sheet or excel import that is causing the problem?
