You didn't test either camera at night or with the IR mode on and also the dash cam looks terrible quality, check out Techmoan's channel, he has tons of good dashcams so you can see what good quality dashcam footage looks like.

I have samsung 360 (original) camera as a dashcam, it is 4k camera and mostly I use it 180 degrees, even though quality is way better than most dashcams, it still could be better. I hope that some day I could use 360 camera as dashcam so that I could use full 360 degrees, but the camera must be atleast 8k
I think he means it's good quality for the few bucks it cost. Yes it's terrible but for the price, not to bad. I've seen some video footage of dash cams that had better quality than most legit cameras

You need to do a full proper test of the cop cam and proper review its far worse than you tell everyone its a rebranded cheap Chinese camera that actually costs between $5 and $8

Dashcam quality was not very good, but the price is only $15... I don't think there's a lot of competition in that price segment, and for sure you will not get a good quality full HD video for $15... $30 is another story.
Make a new video hackin' the dashcam with a wide angle phone lens! And you could probably get a higher capacity battery replacement to use it as a makeshift camcorder.

The directions state to place the copcam with the power/record button on the side which actually works. Obviously the assumption of having the button on top would make sense but when are as seen on tv products ever properly engineered?
I have got a few of those dash cams they did not last long either broke or something did not work like the battery. So I personally would say not worth the money
$39.99 for that tiny cam, they saw you coming, those little cams,with the bracket are like $6.99 on ebay. You paid an extra $33 for the "Cop Cam" sticker and oversized box.
Warning warning warning, the batteries used in the demonstration were the Costco brand Kirkland batteries. My brother and I have bought these batteries in the recent past and they corrode. If you put them into some devices like flashlights and store them away, the batteries will corrode. I love Costco but not their batteries . They also sell Duracell batteries for a little more, buy it instead. I use a lot of different branded batteries and none of them have given me any problems. This was not just a one off, the batteries are not made for longevity. And Kip, how about testing batteries?

mind u..the door alarm isjust a basic signal to alert you that the door/window has been breached, so you should investigate straight away. but i understand u testing it the way you did. although i wuld still give it a thumbs up
That cop cam is a knockoff of the Polaroid Cube. There are many body cams that do better job. Also that dash cam is the cheapest and crappiest in the market, the quality is horrendous and the durability is bad. You are better off to spend a little bit more on other dash cams.
"Freaking reviews" did a real review on it and it sucked. The motion capture works 20% of the time and the it doesn't record sometimes. Indeed is is a cheap eBay Camera just rebranded
Dash cam pro should get a thumbs down, Try to record and see if you can read signs with it or even a license plate of a car , You will find its not clear at all to read

That dashcam is a cheap generic chinese one and the quality is awful. You can't make out license plates.

CopCam is actually a simplified SQ11 and is worth about $7usd from AliExpress.
