true - the older the rockers are more difficult to please...unless is something really really revolutionary (this isn't the case) but it's good music all along (not just Rock, Maneskin can do anything) - at this stage they are simply exploring from other influences but in a few years?

This song is from their first album who came out in 2018, it's a nice beat but I think they're improved since then.

I love this band so much, every song is different but well written and the music it’s full on Rock ! 😊
This was the first track of their first proper album, which was released in 2018. I suppose that's the reason they called it "New Song". They didn't include the instrumental solo back then, but basically it's an old song for their career.
P.S. my personal favourite is La Paura del Buio, but I do believe Vent'Anni might be their most mature yet.
Am I the only one picking up on the Michael Hutchence-esque frontman feeling from Damiano David? He really is charasmatic and unique. I am really enjoying this band and their music

That is a great comment, yes, Michael..he was a great front man and full of charisma, just like Damiano.

In my opinion each song is different and so they remember many bands. , for example The Cult (in For your Love )or others....sometimes grunge, or funk etc...but I LOVE them always...

"Torna a casa" with official video...
Maneskin did a cover of Franz Ferdinand: "Take me out".
As for "New song", i think it is a deliberate repetition...in any case, there is also an amazing guitar riff.
Repetitive but not boring song. In this live version, the song has been very accurate in every detail. I like the cd version much less: the guitar riff is heard less and there is no solo (this, maybe they could do it "a turn" shorter in the live).

I also prefer their italian lyrics but I like the rithm of this song. The guitar solo (+drum) is so cool!

Very nice reaction, i suggest you to listen “Chosen”(English) and “ La Paura del buio”(Italian)
I really liked the guitar near the end, that was really good.
...it is true that Damiano's Italian lyrics are deeper, that of course he espresses himself better in his native language ... but - from a market oriented point of view - English works better. From an artistic point of view, it would be a pity if Damiano felt to be somehow obliged to write in English only for their future releases. Let's hope not.
I am pretty sure that many people in the UK like their Italian songs, they have to be promoted and thanks to RUclips this is happening 🙂

I agree with you guys. What makes Maneskin so unique on international platforms is exactly their italian heritage, plus the fact that they sing in 2 different languages and their songs sound great regardless. I'm pretty sure they could write deep English lyrics if they wanted to. Story telling is key in their music so perhaps something Iron Maiden-esque is already in the cards, who knows.

Love damiano's voice and his stage presence. I think that the english songs are intended to be more commercial, simpler as opposed to the italians ones. Please check la paura del buio from the same concert and also the vevo unplugged version of torna a casa for another side of that amazing song and is the song that put them on the map
This song is basically Jackson 5 getting hard drunk with Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, U2, and house music
And I mean it in a good way. It's cutting-edge, we just can't see it yet

No one else is going to request him because he’s not that well known outside of Italy, but, trust me when I tell you that these will blow you away and that if these had been English songs they would now be all-time greats, this guy is considered Italy’s rock king.
Also to give you a little context, Vasco Rossi holds the WORLD RECORD for the highest-attended single artist's ticketed concert (excluding music festivals) with 225,173 tickets issued in 2017. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-attended_concerts and that's not a one off, his concerts are massively attented.

I suggest you give "Lividi sui gomiti" a go if you want more of a varied type song!
One of my favourite songs thanks to instrumental part in the middle.

I like that they have both. Those that you really have to be listed and those that are just catchy and supported with absolutely good instrumentals.

I normally prefer their italian songs, they are usually more special and deep.
Their English language songs are more powerful rock songs than the Italian ones. For me, the genius of a rock intuition is equivalent to deep lyrics.
This is a miracle. The Renaissance of the best old school Rock in the best Way. Well , They shine at the best in italian for sure but the rockin' in english is brillant.

We really are enjoying this young band and it has a ot to do with the bands they took influence from but also they are adding a cool Italian chic to it and Damiano is a great front man with lots of personality.
They are doing great and I hear that they have made it on to BBC Radio 1's playlist and that will be big for them too.

I like this song a lot. I may prefer others of theirs, but it's powerful, catchy, self-assertive and a good showcase of their abilities, especially live and with the solo.
