That is amazing. Everything is a lie ! Keep it simple people why are we spending our life savings on a single day just to have a few nice photos .... yikes !!! Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life no man comes to the Father except by Him. Read your Bible and let it transform you ! Keep and open heart to Jesus He loves you so much He shed His innocent blood so you can be forgiven.

A wedding is a celebration of a marriage, but it does not the marriage make. There's nothing wrong with including a wedding in a marriage, but I don't think it is necessary for a marriage. Two people can be married if they want to be without a wedding celebration. In medieval times, it basically took the brides father's approval, and the couple beginning to cohabitate with the intention of procreation. Then everyone just considered them married. If they could afford it, they had a celebration and a few guests, aka the wedding. So yeah, Jesus attended a wedding, likely for a couple who had money and were able to afford to entertain a large number of guests for an extended period of time, but such a celebration was not necessary for the families and the community to recognize the couple as married. Marriage as something that must be done in church, and marriage that must be licensed and registered with the government, are extremely recent inventions in the wide span of history, and I don't think it is absolutely necessary to tick both those boxes for a marriage to be legitimate in God's eyes.

@@talysharawlins94 Marriage was God's idea, NOT man's and "the wedding" is the earthly model of the spiritual Groom, who is Jesus Christ and His Bride, who is the church, a body of believers, Not n institution or a building. And the celebration, is the wedding, which is to take place upon Christ's return at the wedding supper of the lamb! All foretold in the Word of God and modeled in the earth as a symbolism of how Christ loves His church, the Bride, and laid his life down for her. It serves as instruction of how an earthly marriage should function. A husband who loves his bride and sacrifices for her and his family in a similar fashion! So, NO, a wedding is NOT something that came into "the church" in th 1300's, (most people referring to an institution that they CALL "the church"), was my point! It was something done by a body of believers!
If you're not a "believer" I understand why you would not get this and of course, later weddings were taken outside of God's model and are only seen as "a secular" ceremony. But that was not it's original design as intended by it's Creator who IS God, the Father of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
