There's a 40:13 minute interview floating around on RUclips with Jim speaking before an auditorium of Catholics that you might want to see (KatholicInsideUSA). Personally, I think he's just expressing his sense of humor here (being Christian doesn't mean one can't tell jokes) because Ferguson's show is supposed to be comedic. He's making a genuine effort to remain secular in his comments, but he's a very devout man - which becomes abundantly clear in the video I mentioned above.
There's a small moment in the film where Pilate and Jesus are talking and Jesus speaks in Latin. The part where Pilate asks Christ in Hebrew "So are you the king of the Jews?" and Christ responds in Latin "Do you ask this because you want to know or is it because others have told you that I am?"
The best views of Jim were the ones of him giving God the praise and his testimony then segments of movies he's done. He seemed more of himself as he should be.

They feared if he was K.I.A., it would crush U.S. morale. But Stewart prevailed & became a pilot w/the U.S. Army Air Corp. 💖🇺🇸💖 Jim seems like a wonderful person. 👍🏼😙

I just love each of these men. I just love them over so many others. They are really something special. Genuine, funny, sensitive and thought provoking each in their own way. God was with Him in all that he went through. He could not have endured this torture in his flesh. I saw him in a Christian atmosphere on an interview....He was so in the Spirit of God, I cried at times...It was as if he was Jesus himself. God allowed him to experience some of what Jesus went through...walking with the cross, on the cross and the lashing. He also had heart surgery after the making of the film. The Passion was such a moving movie! I went to a private christian school and the Easter after it came out they had us all come into the sanctuary and we watched it on a big projector. I remember a few days after it came out a story in on the news about an older woman who went to see it and the beating/crucifixion scene was so graphic she had a heart attack (she is ok) such a strong powerful movie

Just a small bit of misinformation regarding, "Madison." This story takes place in Madison, Indiana which is located on the Ohio River. In the interview they seem to be saying that the town of Madison is in Ohio, which is incorrect. By the way, Madison, Indiana is a lovely place to visit.
I never even thought about this late show guy, I just wanted to see what Jim had to say. I love you Jim. I met him briefly in New York in one of the sets of Person of Interest. God, he smells yummy. NYC ... I just finished watching all 5 seasons of POI and loved it. Then I started listening to some of his interviews and how he avoided sex scenes because of his faith. So I have to ask this - why participate in a role that “justifies” murdering people when Jesus says to love one another etc. ?? The one character in that series that actually acted the part of someone with grace and faith was Harold and I don’t think you’ll find him talking about his faith. Just an observation.

The Passion was such a moving movie! I went to a private christian school and the Easter after it came out they had us all come into the sanctuary and we watched it on a big projector. I remember a few days after it came out a story in on the news about an older woman who went to see it and the beating/crucifixion scene was so graphic she had a heart attack (she is ok) such a strong powerful movie

Just a small bit of misinformation regarding, "Madison." This story takes place in Madison, Indiana which is located on the Ohio River. In the interview they seem to be saying that the town of Madison is in Ohio, which is incorrect. By the way, Madison, Indiana is a lovely place to visit.

NYC ... I just finished watching all 5 seasons of POI and loved it. Then I started listening to some of his interviews and how he avoided sex scenes because of his faith. So I have to ask this - why participate in a role that “justifies” murdering people when Jesus says to love one another etc. ?? The one character in that series that actually acted the part of someone with grace and faith was Harold and I don’t think you’ll find him talking about his faith. Just an observation.
