I've discovered the fastest way to read a book is listening to it and reading the text at the same time. You've encapsulated this method into teaching board games. Listening and using simple straight forward visuals. Job well done!
Great video, quick explanation with nice dash of humour. Also like the detail of demonstrating paying off a card with the Lando card as well. I see what you did there.
Wow, this how to play is on Rodney Smith levels, but more condensed, on the point. Your voice fits this kind of content perfectly IMHO. I really liked the music choice, and the sound effects, but in my opinion both are a tiny bit too loud compared to your voice, a tad distracting. Can't wait to watch more of your videos! Keep up the awesome work you are doing!
It's so interesting that they chose to have resource cubes to count the coins and resources. I'm not sure if I like that, and bet it would slow down the game. Though, I really love the way they do the buy row. I will have to check this one out. Great video!
Yeah a lot of people don’t understand the resource cubes. This feels like an introductory game to deckbuilding, so maybe it is just an aide for the newcomers. I also really like the galaxy row!
Definitely helps for newcomers . when you start gaining more than 7 resources a turn and are buying/exiling and or sabotaging cards that reward you with more it can be a little much to keep track in your head
beautiful video, quick question, why should I sign up for the newsletter? also still waiting on the video on snakes and ladders where you demonstrate the live snakes variant.
Thanks! The newsletter is great for keeping up with what is going on with the channel, if I ever get the time to send a newsletter... The snakes are currently in transit from a small village along the Amazon river.
@@cjackdc You found a bug, so you win a gold star! Thanks for pointing that out to me. It was a plugin conflict and is now fixed. You can click "Get the latest tutorials" then a form will show up.
Hello, Can you only purchase one card on your turn? and can you only attack one card in the Galaxy row on your turn. I thought it was clear in the rulebook but there are some cards in the game that make it seem that it would be more Just want to sure...Because on many turns I have so much resources but can only buy one card and same goes for attacking the galaxy row.
Thanks for the video! Quick question - are you the guy who made a great tutorial video for Fury of Dracula years ago? Your voice sounds similar. Just curious. Again, great video! Thanks.
Hi Ladies and gents ,getting a bit long in the tooth these days at 66 so just asking for a wee bit of help on the imperial carriers .what Is the official line on the +1 fighter add if a carrier is present ie if 2 carriers are in play does the adjustment on attack value for fighters become +2 cumulative ,makes quite a difference ofc ,but nothing in the Rules !...cheers and happy new year to all!
I am finding the Imperial Draw Strategy nigh impossible to defeat, and don't see a comparable Rebel Strategy yet. Since drawing a card allows you to also play that card, draws are effectively a two-fer, especially compared to other deck builders where cards cost an action to play.
It’s in the Rulebook and I think it is just a standard way to balance things. If you do have to implement it then you have probably lost already but you have the opportunity to make your foe burn with you.
I don't know why I was so confused before, this made it way too easy 😂
Thank you!

God damn this is best edited tutorial video I ever saw! Well played man!
Thank you so much!

Great overview of how to play!
Thanks!

Thanks!
Thank you, super clear and concise.
Thank you!
Please make 2v2 video, we need it! -demands-
Gonna try and play this today! Much better than the video that it points me too in the rule book!
Thanks!
Great explanation!! So much better than the "official" rules video. Qiick question...Is the galaxy discard pile also where you put exiled cards?
Thank you! Exiled cards go back into the box (out of the game)
Thanks!@@Boardgame_tutorials
Let’s get that 2v2 vid going
Let’s see that 2v2

This is the 2nd video explanation I have watched of the game, no one explains what are the “outer rim pilot” cards used for?

Thanks! Naw that wasn’t me but thanks for asking!

I would say they do stack to +2. I would check the Board Game Geek forums as well to see if the designer has commented on this.

@9:15 is there a reason behind this? why would anyone do that if they can just add it to their card/team
Some cards just don't fit into your build. Paying them off is mostly to block your opponent from getting it into their build.
It’s in the Rulebook and I think it is just a standard way to balance things. If you do have to implement it then you have probably lost already but you have the opportunity to make your foe burn with you.
I love how this narrator sounds like Temeura Morrison
Thanks 😁
Do your already-played capital ships also add to your attack power, or does that only apply on the turn you played them from your hand?
Is there like deck add on for this game
Not yet but they left some room in the box, so maybe they’ll add one in the future
Can you sabotage/bounty hunt an enemy factions capital ship while they are on galaxy row?
Yes, you can. You just can't use a capital ship to sabotage/bounty hunt.
lol 1:39
also, great video. the humor was on point without being overbearing, and the explanations were concise and easy to understand.
@@richards_256 Thank you! I'm glad at least one person other than me found "right me-aw" funny lol
I cackled
I wanna know how to play 2 v 2 pls
Can I sabotage or hunts ships on the galaxy?
Love this game, you sound like my next husband 😊
Great video! Now I maybe can getmy gf to watch your video and try this game out with me =) 🎉
Thank you! I hope you convince her to play
okay am I the only one that thinks its weird that the empire is blue and the rebels are red??
I see your point, but the rebel insignia is red. So I can see the dilemma
