Ryan gets all the credit in the world as an amazing first time head coach, maintaining the excellence of his predecessors. He has a TTUN problem, but I still believe in him. My faith in his abilities definitely wavered after the 4th loss to TYUn, but look what he’s done now to get this team to bounce back. That’s a credit to him and his staff and the players.

As an OSU fan, there is no way around it, Ryan Day has beat Michigan at some point period. Winning a National Championship very well could get him out of the hot seat and give far more job security, but the pressure will still be there until he can prove he beat Michigan consistently. Do I think he can do it, yeah, but the question is will he do it.
Ohio State should be heavily favored. The Buckeyes are on a roll. They have been since Michigan embarrassed them on Nov. 30. That seems to have motivated them for a CFP run to the national championship game. The Texas Longhorns, on the other hand, have not played well in their last two games. They have been inconsistent on offense, due in part to injured personnel on the offensive line. The Horns will likely struggle against Ohio State’s defense.
Texas will be a closer game then the past 2. Refs are going to call more offensive PI , which is going to make Ohio state run the ball which they are not the best at.
How many of those 4 ten win teams qualified for the CFP? Lost to a MAC school at home. How many of those ranked teams played in the CFP? Congrats on playing in the national championship game.
