Lucky Rae got to not be ran over by the cart lady, get checked by the conductor, the DEATH seats, the no seat car, the green eyed man chasing the player, the laptop lady reflection, and the player double reflection on the window. She literally didn't get most of the anomalies-

What makes no sense in terms of the lore of this game is this: clearly the cart lady and the doctor are also ghosts as they were part of the train people like the dead kid and his dead sister, but the security guard on the train isn’t a ghost since he’s looking for the dead brother and sister? And you aren’t since you didn’t go with them? None of it makes sense and honestly the story kinda sucks.
Ok hear me out: I think the train was a kind of purgatory and everyone we see is either an extension of the train or a dead/dying person trapped there. All the other people on the purgatory-train disappeared when it stopped except the MC, Naoki and his sister so they were just projections just like the train itself (and that's why they could be part of the anomalies). If they had died in a mall, the scene probably would've been a mall filled with fake shoppers modeled after the real shoppers who had been around. The main goal of the purgatory is to keep dead and dying people trapped there indefinitely, looping in what they think could be real life. Maybe it feeds off of them? Or there is a sick kami that takes them over? That would make sense why the ghost gatekeeper had green eyes- he could've been a dead person who the train won over! Anyway, I never would've even thought deeper into the story if not for your comment so thanks!
