Cheese head screws were used in old plough planes and philisters to hold the fences and brass attachments

Nice work as usual Bill , just one question, Isn't Laburnum poisonous to work ? Maybe its just when its machined ? i'm sure an old wood turner told me ?

I have used it many times, everything is poisonous on laburnum when you are working it but when it is in a plane it is very safe.
