I have this Sat Nav for about a year without use, until a few days ago, but when I switched it on, the built software has disappeared, so stuck now with a dead sat nav, as I can't get updates for it :(
Battery in mine lasted about 30 mins. Oh and this is a NORTHERN HEMISPHERE device. Once the battery ran out I tried charging it from my computer with the correct cord. So far it has not done anything. It seems to be dead!
I agree with some comments. The voice directions aren't accurate, among other things. Waste of money. A PIECE OF JUNK. I wish I had paid more and got better quality. My previous sat nav was good, but just got old and worn out. I thought since it had microsoft it would be good.
Hi I have bought one of these and I find the back button dosnt respond , ie: i clicked on the converter button and now just cant seem to get back !! could it be that the "Back" button is faulty ??
My MediaTex auto opens at Navigator. I want to change settings from miles to KM for the audio street directions. How do I turn off the auto start in Navigator? I tried the reset to default and inserting the needle in the tiny hole in the rear of the unit, but it still bypasses the other Apps. How do I change the audio street directions from imperial to metric? Can I set the GPS to turn ON when I start my car and turn off when I turn off the car ?
In Philippines no selection of map, what should i do, do i need to buy online, i bought this devise in online shop expecting i can use but its not because of no map. thank you for reply.
Don't bother the thing is a pile of crap, constantly making errors. Batt charge doesn't hold and before you know it the shitty thing is so dead and wont charge through usb or car charger. just cheap crap don't buy
+Aneez Alibaba Postcodes are a little bit confusing in puttong in. What do you have an issue with. Can you not find where to put the postcode of a destination

I hooked it and only have red light and 3 square boxes going across the screen
will the reset button on the back help connect to my location?? I have a gps just like this and it keeps reading that its somewhere else.

2 things - 1 how did you get the music to play?
and 2 how did you get the micro sd card in?
+Sargeant Clockwork Micro sd card jist slots in on the side and music can be played via the music app on the device

That is not speaker. That is a dummy plug. There could be an AV input for the reverse camera.

tap on find address, then tap town, then put in postcode but remember to leave a space for the second part of the postcode.
