just built 4 of these 140 engines in last 12 months and built 3 pit bikes from the frame up and im gonna ride one before my 60th birthday this year end lol . right the bloke below is spot on with only using mineral oil in these engines if not like he says the synthectic stuff kills all the rubber cam timing wheels by making them hard and brittle leading to failure . only use super unleaded aswell as the E10 stuff kills the fuel pipe and also the rubber gaskets in ya carb and probally that carb manifold that keeps failing on ya . another tip is get a vent kit for the head , it comes with a mini filter. pipe. and what ever tappet cover ya need either screw in or bolt on . this lets the head breathe and encourages the oil to stop in the head longer keeping more oil up there to stop it going bang . last tip get shawn to get one of the tappet removel tools . comes with a rubber dome that fits in the head and ya push down with one tool and that removes the collets in five seconds then to put em back in ya put the collets in the valve cap , use the second tool one press down and there back in there brill and cost about 15 quid or cheaper . better than messing with a valve tool and risking damage to valves or head . keep up the vids
forgot to tell ya about putting a manifold to head insulator in , it looks like the carb to manifold one on the bolt on carbs . this helps stop heat traveling up the manifold and stops fuel evaperation and mixture been altered before it enters the engine . and only 2.99 including 2 gaskets
@@Pitbikesonic76, we race in denmark as well but mainly crf150r, 65cc 2 strokes and ohvale GP's. supermotards are bikes are 250/450cc. mini's : ruclips.net/video/3ABF3WfkMVk/видео.htmlfeature=shared

I've only ever put shell v power in my bikes, so it's not reson the rubbers split there just cheap.
you switched to the gen 3, i can se. the crankshaft from the yx149 will fit the yx140 ;o)
I know, but it will probably put me over the 15hp championship limit.

If there is a spare bike going, I would love to come over and do a video!
Track looks mega !
Best oil for pittys is mineral oil
Try 7-one, trust me, it will change your life 😉
@Pitbikesonic76 it will eventually turn the oil seals solid trust me. Supposed to use mineral oil in pittys
@Pitbikesonic76 I only fix pittys. I rode proper mx bikes and wouldn't use 7one oil. Never seen anyone remote it either
@gazking08mx what mineral oil do you use mate ?
Hey, just a idea, why don't you ask in a machine shop (lathe or mill) if they can make that suspension part that you need?
Luckily, someone with a 3D printer had gotten in contact with me and is going to make one !
Thank you for watching the video 😀
Is it normal after a strip down, to have bits left over?…..we always seem to😮
Yes, me to makes it lighter 🤣
wish ya lived near me as i would build and repair it for ya for free and i can weld mig and tig and alloy lol .
Cheers, bud, got a good lad on it. You see that in the next video
Will you be at stretton tomorrow?
