Today was possibly the rainiest day of the year and it just so happened to also fall on the day of the babies' school Business Fair! I dropped them off at school for their second last day of term and signed myself up for baking 48 cupcakes for the school picnic the next day (don't ask!). On my way home, I stopped by Tesco's and bought some ingredients. Then it was time to rush back, quickly do some chores and then drive back to school for the Business Fair. Dre (5) was selling soaps and eco-friendly cleaning products he & his class had made themselves...Alessia (7) was selling a book she & her class wrote together. During prize-giving it unfortunately rained TORRENTIALLY and we were all soaked through! We drove home dripping wet and I got straight into my pyjamas. The kids all had a bath. I then got to work baking cupcakes as well as cooking dinner...by the end of the day I was exhausted! BUT I did have fun and it reminded me of how much I really missed baking and that it is something I love to do, I just don't get the time to do it very often anymore! See you on Thursday! 😊💖

Anna you are good at so many things! You’re a fantastic Mum yes, and organised and nurturer, but along with that you’re an epic home maker, cook, multitasker, budgeter (food shopping for that big a family is no joke) video editor, friend (Matt would agree), ED recovery advocate, mental health advocate, teacher to your children, mum to your dogs, you literally run that household (with so many kids and dogs) and support Jonathan in the process of running the family business. All of those things are like a full time job in themselves and you do it all. There’s a reason people tune in to watch you ❤
I can remember when Emilia and Edie were so small you did baking segments and as with the younger two-the days are long but the years are short,one day you will laugh as you think back you staying up late with blue frosting all over you and making more cupcakes then first thought and years later you will do it for your grand kids and feel so proud-your a awesome Momma and in everything you do,you always do it with a open and loving heart-please give yourself some grace

I love you and Jonathan as parents and people in general. Ive been watching since you were pregnant with Emilia and it made me feel like u are my parents too, at the time I was a kid. It’s been wildly beautiful to see your family’s growth, your growth and Jonathan’s. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting for 13+ years. Anna, couldn't the older kids fold their own laundry, to help out?🤩 Even if they all turned their clothes the right way out, before throwing in the hamper, it would trim time. The littles could certainly do that. Just trying to think of anything that would trim your load. You are doing such a great job and we love your vlogs!!❤🩷
To be honest they do bring me down laundry baskets / separate lights & darks etc when I ask them 💕 And I’m sure technically they could fold their own stuff but that just gives me anxiety that it would be done “wrong” 🫠 So bad of me I know 🤦🏼♀️🤣

I'm the same. I say I'm stressed and overwhelmed as I have too much on and I feel it's all my responsibility then I take more on. I always say I haven't got any talents but I do like baking and I'm not a fan of cooking. I have made some lovely cakes lol. I feel like we have a similar personality in that sense

Anna this is one of my favourite vlogs of yours, and take a curtsey on those cupcakes because they look so professional, I wish you'd shown us how you did the icing. My kids always ask me to do cupcakes but its the icing that gives me anxiety. I hate mess too, my kids arenot allowed to have play doh, or paints, I bought kinetic sand once and it was EVERYWHERE 😮😢! You should bake more, do it after the school drop off and the kids would love it when they get back from school 🎒 🏫 I saw Jonathan's video of the school - it looked cool, especially the giant converse ❤❤❤❤

I'm like what is going on?? They are beautiful and I know delicious! One other comment. When my now 34 year old daughter was in elementary school, I was in charge of Hospitality. It was Teacher Appreciation week and I had to have a cake for each teacher ! BTW I didn’t have to make them all myself as there were 80 teachers! It turned out great and thank the good Lord he must have taken over!👍😂😂
