Something I really dislike currently, is how the DLC weapon pack modifications, which are non-weapon specific, like a new silencer or a new sight, are not equipable on other weapons, only the DLC ones. The green dot sight for the Bullkick 500, looks pretty good, would be lovely to use on the other pistols, but no, you cannot do that. The classic EOTech holosight that probably everyone prefers over that ugly box sight we have for every weapon, that the FAMAS has, it's exlusive to that weapon. This is a stupidly easy change that starbreeze could make with limited effort, and it would make the game objectively better. Yet they still haven't done that.

I just want more options, you don't have to use a saw for lockboxes, container QR locks, and ATMs or blast open safes or objective doors with C4 but it would sure be fun to have that option! First World Bank will be a good time though!

Regarding teh replacement of the special escape vehicle to the standard escape van: Could be cost cutting measure, could be "modern game-design consistency." Might also be using development footage to not spoil the surprise. A ton of different reasons but, yes, my mind also goes to the cost cutting angle. Hopefully they can find solid footing and come back to add the classic special escape.
For all of the loot bags we've secured across the series nobody fumbled a bigger one than the devs. Last I saw the charts in a vid they have a 24-hour peak of 500 players. The decisions made aren't just beyond confusing plenty are just outright idiotic.
payday 3 is a crossplay game, that means people on other platforms play it as well. if you check starbreeze’s quarterly interim reports, payday 3 actually has more players than payday 2 despite that, the game isn’t making great cash

I also heard that they at least made their money back off the initial sales but I doubt they are rolling in it after the refunds.
@ as a console player myself, me and my friends have just been waiting for the next thing for what feels like an eternity now. probably why console players are pretty keen on payday 3 despite its troubles. me and my group were there when payday 2 was going through similar issues, so we’ll stick around for the ride. :) hopefully this game can help itself back onto a pedestal again.
8:27 they could very easily add the GL40 and Brenner-21 to the game in this update, both are from the first game and the game is severely lacking in terms of LMGs and GLs, it would be a huge missed opportunity if they didn't
Tbh about the new music of the heist (probably Gun Metal Gray 2024), from what I heard in the trailer I'm disappointed that it doesn't have that iconic beat (I don't know how to describe it but it goes like, ta ta ta ta ta, ta ta ta ta ta, ta ta ta ta ta, ta ta tatata ta).
I think Gustavo might've tried to appease part of the community by making the song sound more like a Viklund track. That's fine and all, but I think he ended up sacrificing much of his own style to do it. The track doesn't sound like something he'd make, it sounds more like a middle-of-the-road Viklund track from one of the many somewhat forgettable PAYDAY 2 heists. Nearly all of Gustavo's work, especially his work on 3, has been fire. I don't want him to sacrifice that just to appease the "Viklund or bust" part of the community.

Tbh, I just dislike how Payday 3 feels. I'm glad this heist is coming back as the PD3 heists suck, but man, Payday 2 feels good to shoot, move, and the FOV in Payday 3 feels so.. off? Like where the camera is originating from isn't right, and all the movement feels lacking of personality. It's terribly unhelpful, but playing Payday 2 feels like an unpolished, old beautiful bank, while Payday 3 feels like a modern skyscraper's architecture. Imo.

Nope, sorry Overkill, I've played First World Bank twice now, on two different games. Don't get me wrong FWB slaps, but I'm not retuning to your currently shitty game just for you to lean on past work. Please find inspiration and motivation to innovate and expand of what you've already done and stop behaving like you're past your prime. Also, a lack of heists isn't really the main issue with Payday 3, even though heist quality from Payday 1 to 3 has been a steady decline, multiple gameplay mechanics need major reworks before you add heists, especially remakes.

I hate to say this because it's negative but this update/heist isn't going to move the needle at all, just like every other update. they NEED to do MORE sooner rather than later.
especially since we won't see any update after this for a couple of months. it's unacceptable

The track for the heist just doesn’t fit. Any other heist it might be ok but for FWB it just sounds so out of place. It sounds like something we’d hear at a nightclub. Not a fan

I got payday 3 on game pass so I bought the gold edition for practically the price of the game, the gold edition didn’t have the game included so now I have dlc for a slowly dying game that I don’t feel right buying

Nope, sorry Overkill, I've played First World Bank twice now, on two different games. Don't get me wrong FWB slaps, but I'm not retuning to your currently shitty game just for you to lean on past work. Please find inspiration and motivation to innovate and expand of what you've already done and stop behaving like you're past your prime. Also, a lack of heists isn't really the main issue with Payday 3, even though heist quality from Payday 1 to 3 has been a steady decline, multiple gameplay mechanics need major reworks before you add heists, especially remakes.
