Barrel jack connectors are not standard, some Dell laptops have communication from charger to laptop using one-wire protocol, this won't work there also.

So to support PD charging we need at least 4 wired connections.... 2 for charging and other 2 for triggering PD which called CC pin. But there are only 2 wires in a laptop charging cable. One is + and one is - Now even though we suppose it has a chip inside to trigger that PD ... It never knows which kind of laptop we are charging. And not every laptop uses the same voltage for charging. So it will be unable to give the right amount of voltage that needs to charge. The probability of proper charging is not at 100% with that!

Those are bulky for a reason. First of all. The mobile motherboard and laptop motherboard is not same. Both are different. And both have different batteries. Laptop adapters have some features like. Over voltage protection, low voltage protection, surge protection and electeical noise reduction. Which is very important for a laptop or pc. So. Never charge your laptop with a mobile charger. Its not about the watts or power. Its about safety.

Just some clarifications... This does require powerbank and adapters that uses Typr C Power Delivery Feature and has the output rating of above 50W (preferebly 100W), since those are the only powerbanks and adapters that can output 20V on the output. Normal 22.5W PD chargers only output 12V to 15V and laptops need 19.5V

It won't charge, the laptop communicates with the adpater using the middle pin of the plug, if it is unconnected, it wll show plugged in, not charging. And the laptop will not draw full power from the plug.
