I can see why you based your layout on the track plan in the 1994 Classic Toy Trains article. You improved upon it, and your layout is a perfect blend of trains and accessories - packed with action. Great opening angle showing the 'tunnel side' of the layout.
Thanks! This version is two 6x8 tables in an L shape. I’d build it 20+ years ago using two 4x8 tables. The larger tables allowed me to add two sidings (one on each table) and add more accessories.
The original track plan was set up on two 4x8 tables in an L. I expanded to 6x8 tables on this version. That allowed me to add two more sidings for trains and accessories.

What a really nice layout! A lot of interesting parts in a seemingly small space!
Beautiful post war style layout. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks George! Glad you liked it. It’s a fun layout to run trains on!
Again I love your layout. Well put together and a classic look
That is one cool layout. You have giving me a few ideas

WOW!! Wonderful thanks!!!
So well done!
Really nice layout...I'm curious as to the dimensions, looks like two tables in L shape. Great postwar look!

They are loud aren’t they.
That's part of the fun of running them. Also, that video was shot before I ballasted track.
What is the size of your layout?
