    There's a funny thing that happens: if you have too much free play, and you shift to first, from neutral, there's the tiniest bit of power going into the back wheel with the lever pulled in all the way. The adjustment really is very fine. Thanks a ton!

    Quick question: should we do the adjudtment with the handlebar turned all the left, or right or placed dead center?

    Question, I just bought an 04 tuono 1000r from auction. Under the gas tank I’m assuming it’s the drain plugs where there’s two nipples on it looks like there should be two hoses connected but doesn’t haven’t it and I don’t now where they should runs too would you be able to help me out would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Griff. Is it important for the dots to line up on the spline at the clutch end ?
    My v4 was not lining up correctly and needed adjustment that end via the adjustment nuts, rather than taking all of the play out of the lever end.

    When I collected my (new to me) Tuono V4 from the Aprilia dealer, i thought the clutch was worn, it only showed up when riding flat out, the clutch would slip badly. It turned out to be exactly as you have just diagnosed. It appears that supposed main dealers are over adjusting also!
