when i hear this song, i think of my best friend. she passed away and whenever i hear the songs she loved it always reminds me of her. She really did have a lot of problems but she always assured us that it was gonna be okay. The day she passed away was around midnight and i barely woke up to find out that on my socials everyone was posting her. I literally couldnt stop crying the next day at school. "i love you, and i hope that ur ok." this will always hit hard.

You wouldn’t , I’m no contact with my parents, because they are and always have been abusive. Im a mum now … and do everything the total opposite to how I was raised. I tell them I love them (and mean it) a million times a day. I hug them. I SHOW them they are supported and loved, no matter what, my love isn’t conditional. I let them feel safe… you know I noticed only the other day, my kids have never had a nightmare… not one. My childhood was haunted by nightmares, fear of the dark… because my days were filled with fear too, we have the information, to do better. Love better… and stop the generational trauma. I lucky haven’t been under child abuse but during Covid-19, I feel into this darkness that led me to crying every night. I moved from my home I lived for my entire life to a place I’ve never heard of. I hated myself for not staying and being stupid for not enjoying my time there. I stated cutting myself and I could feel nothing so I would do it to the point I was in real pain so I could feel something other than hatred. Nobody knows how much I struggle with that hatred I’ve had for years. I found this song I just listened to it over and over. It’s helped so much to fight against myself. Thank you.

You wouldn’t , I’m no contact with my parents, because they are and always have been abusive. Im a mum now … and do everything the total opposite to how I was raised. I tell them I love them (and mean it) a million times a day. I hug them. I SHOW them they are supported and loved, no matter what, my love isn’t conditional. I let them feel safe… you know I noticed only the other day, my kids have never had a nightmare… not one. My childhood was haunted by nightmares, fear of the dark… because my days were filled with fear too, we have the information, to do better. Love better… and stop the generational trauma. It ends with us.

I lucky haven’t been under child abuse but during Covid-19, I feel into this darkness that led me to crying every night. I moved from my home I lived for my entire life to a place I’ve never heard of. I hated myself for not staying and being stupid for not enjoying my time there. I stated cutting myself and I could feel nothing so I would do it to the point I was in real pain so I could feel something other than hatred. Nobody knows how much I struggle with that hatred I’ve had for years. I found this song I just listened to it over and over. It’s helped so much to fight against myself. Thank you.
