Kashtan Spring Concert 2023

The Ukrainian Cultural Arts Association of Greater Cleveland presents its annual Spring Concert from June 4, 2023, featuring the Kashtan School of Ukrainian Dance.
Kashtan welcomed guest dancers from the School of Cleveland Ballet, a group of students and trainees from the prestigious Cleveland Ballet. They were taught by their instructor, founding Kashtan director Markian Komichak, who has been a member of the ballet faculty for 30 years. They performed the dance “Poltavskyj Kozachok” - a masterpiece of choreography from the repertoire of the Pavlo Virsky Ukrainian National Folk Dance Ensemble.
