Friend and I would play this as a "version" of Tron Lightcycles. We'd 'LARP' (so to speak) as Tron and Sark and trade barbs as our cycles 'screamed' across the 'grid'.
I used to sit and play with my brothers in 1980's as a child I play against the computer- the yellow line was the smartest lol! always finding ways to trap me in i didn't get a NES until 1989 so I played intellevsion until then ah memories and that catchy tunes! :)
Sweet video! I own a copy of this one myself. It's a pretty good snakes game. Will be including a recommendation, and a link to your video on my channel's review video Wednesday.
@@Highretrogamelord you're welcome! As a matter of fact your video will be the first recommendation, and link of four on my channel's review video Wednesday.
Oh! But this doesn't show the one where the snakes were bouncy and they didn't die when they ran into things. You had to chase them and bite their tail off or something, and the snakes would gradually get longer or something - I don't remember exactly how it worked.
MrVenom1974 Sadly, this was one of the things that Tron had an idea off of. So Tron came out a long time after this game which is on the intelevision and that was up there with Atari. So it's not a "Tron" game per se.
The Mother Maker of life has had a dream about this game story. The Mother Maker of life enjoyed hopefully enjoys this game. The Mother Maker of Life made a house somehow from this video sequence of manual and video looking .
I loved it, but those discs would get worn out, and you would press them and it wouldn't work, or it would go the wrong way when you pressed it. That was the only thing bad about that. Like the other commenters, I remember all of the music like it was yesterday.
The music in this game was so awesome. Haven’t played this game in over 30 years but remember the music like I played it last night.
It’s why I came here !
What genre is the in-game music?
35 years later and the game over theme still gets stuck in my head.

Best video game music ever!!!
1:39 when I hear this music, I always think on the beatles "Drive my car", it's the same chords.
yo.. yer right! HA!
HA! Like the other guy said you're right!! LOL
The first musical videogame i purchased for INTELLIVISION. I love it. The music & sound effects are great. ❤💙💛⚪😀🤣

Ah, yes. My first earworm game soundtrack. I think that the next was NES Wrecking Crew.
The music for this game is such a jam 🤘
Good game, great music at the time
I didn’t realize until later that they used the bassline for “Drive My Car” in this.
I loved playing this.
Great memories! :)
Making a game of snafu for the Intellivision is not a fine snafu itself as long as you don't cross the line.
Look at that. Light-cycling BEFORE Tron made it cool.
Nice work. Why'd you skip games 4 and 8, though?

Thank you! Yeah, it is a great game.
Thanks for sharing the link!
