Emma Scrivener - 'My battle with anorexia and other mental health issues'

Emma grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was sent along to church on a Sunday morning while her parents had a lie-in! Her early home life was secure, although there was instability in NI due to the ongoing troubles. In her teens she started to question the experiences she was going through and it eventually lead to anorexia. Other serious mental health issues soon followed. She came though it and headed off to university. Years later, after she married, these problems returned, and her health began to decline once again.
