Jim Halpert I was with someone for a year and 3 months exactly. I’m in the same boat as you. I was there in her darkest time, and not once did leaving her cross my mind. She decided to up and leave for no reason, and every reason she gave was a total cop out. She hid the real reason and never wanted to tell me. At this point, I hope she goes through it again. Where her antidepressants run out and she goes back to cutting. I was the main one supporting her, and now she won’t have me there. Nobody is going to put up with all her mental issues like I did, but it’s not my problem anymore. The 19th of June makes 3 months apart instead of a year and a half. Here is my story.... I always wanted to join the military academy. I am from a military family, military service in my country is the most honorable thing a citizen can do. I wanted to train soldiers, to teach young men how to survive in the worst case scenarios. Be a leader, a trooper to inspire the rest of the unit i would teach and instruct. To be a honorable man and a good person..those two i am. I went to the academy and...well. Out of 1000 candidates i was ranked number 71, they said that they wont accept anyone who had less than 70 points overall. I had 66.5, i thought nevermind...well it hurt, defeat was bad and it hurt like hell. But guess what? There were 2-3 guys who were accepted with 61 points. And i knew what time it was when i heard that...Next year i went to try again, and i met this girl...i fell in love with her. Something about her told me that she was the one and i put my dreams aside, since i had a ton of failed relationships i thought that finally my heart can be at ease. As time went by defeat and the wounds of the past were bigger and bigger. I was sad and scared of the future, and then my stepmother may she rest in peace passed...Father came into depression. I couldn't laugh at all, and she couldn't stand that big sobbing son of a bitch. (Me, a guy in army uniform (i am on the faculty for military engineers, demolitions department isnt the academy but oh well...)) And she left me...And when she left me it hit me as hard as fuck. That i didnt chase my dream...that i didnt get out onto the track that day to run the PET and do the math test for the military, to switch to artillery which is my dream. And guess what? I was fucked up. Yeah. 5 months have passed and a month and a half ago I CAME OUT. I FINALLY stood up and said "Fuck this...FUck...this. FUCK THIS!! YOU are the ONLY one who can help yourself! You want something? Go get out there and FUCKING, GET , IT." And i started preparing for the military again. I choose to walk in faith and in strength. Than to walk in fear and weakness....people look at me weird and they think i am strange but i dont give a crap. People think that that what they saw when we broke up when i had my bad year...that THAT guy was me. And finally my true me came out, the soldier in me started commanding me to march forward to "soldier" through it....And now i am better, stronger, i have developed faith in myself and my abilities. I used to be in a very long term relationship (7 years) until recently. She left because she had decided to pursue her dreams without me. I gotta be honest that I’m still recovering from that. We both had our future plans until she said she wants to do her own stuff. I have learned that the only thing that’s left to do from now on is to keep on fighting for what you really have and would like to accomplish. I gotta say that this breakup really changed me even though it still hurts me at night especially.

I know it's hard, especially when we get replaced by someone else, but it is how it is, what I've learned so far is that it is very important for us to keep on breathing because, we'll never know what tomorrow might bring us. Keep on fighting and follow your dreams because, if you ever wanted to accomplish something so bad but you hadn't done it, now it's your time while still young and fresh. I circled back around to this video after finding it in a reallyyyy old playlist of mine, and honestly, it kinda made my heart sink. This video pretty much saved my life when I was going through the worst breakup I’ve ever experienced, one that genuinely left me feeling helpless. To this day, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced as much emotional trauma and suffering as I did when I was in the thick of that breakup. Now, about 6 years later, I’m living my dreams with my best friend who I’ve been with for the past 4 and a half years. To be completely honest, I don’t think that could’ve happened if I didn’t stumble upon this video as a heartbroken teenager. So for that, I just wanna say thank you for picking up so many of us that have fallen. You made the pain so much easier to bear knowing that someone can experience that and still hold their head up and find happiness elsewhere down the road.

These videos make such a difference in the person going through the breakup. There are so many emotions you go through after a breakup and to see how you explain it starts the healing process. I was in love with somebody for a year and a half and to have that person break up with me, destroyed me. The person cut me off completely and wouldn’t even answer any opportunities to reach out. Although I was completely heartbroken I began to slowly discover things about myself I had never known before and within 6 months I started to hurt and hurt less. Fast forward to today I am in a committed relationship with somebody who treats me like I never thought imaginable. The point for whoever reading is that no matter how hard it gets after a breakup there is always a light at the end of that tunnel. It is hard now but it will get better and at a certain point you will not hurt anymore. You may think about that person, but the negative emotions associated with them will fade. Life’s too short enjoy your journey and let the right person come to you

My love of 3 years and I broke up today. I’m broken and I feel like there’s no way out, no hope. We’ve done everything together. I can’t do anything or go anywhere without thinking of her. I’m not even safe in my own house. We always talked about marriage, and we always talked about being together forever. I thought it was real. The bond we had, the connection we had, it was amazing. My girlfriend broke up with me around 5 months ago (we were together for 3 years too). We did everything together and she was the only person I talked to within those 3 years. She left because she liked someone else and I was heart broken - I didn't want to live either. I was constantly crying and feeling bad because I knew I didn't treat her right (sometimes controlling). She told the whole college this and I was isolated from everything. I put my spare time into my education and was doing really well. Guess who came asking for help 😂 of course I helped her since we were in the same class but honestly it felt so good when she came to me. Thing got very dark for me for quite a few weeks but I started slowly forgetting about her and became more confident. I am 17 years old and I though my life was ruined. But keep going, I never believed it when people said you'll get better, but it was true. I had another breakdown today because I found out that she was sending this guy inappropriate pictures through snapchat. You may cry and get emotion now and then but put your time into something you love, take this time to become more confident and help better yourself. Its cliche to say, but it's TRUE. You'll find the person you're suppose to be with, now just isn't the time. If you need to talk, I am here for you. I had no one and had to deal with everything on my own but just know, people are going through the same stuff as you are, you are not alone ❤

So she’s actually talking to me and said we can possibly work things out, but she wants to build a friendship first, because when we met, we kind of just hopped straight into it and never became friends first. We played Halo together last night and it was really nice. I signed up for a boxing gym on Monday and have been there all week and it feels great. Thanks for the support and encouragement, I know now that I will be okay.

I just broke up from a 2 year and a half relationship, all i had was her since I am abroad where i only have a couple of friends and no family members here. I feel you.. I was engaged, that ended... It hurt but was still green to the world, met someone else, later got married she cheated on me broke me completely for a few years ... Met someone else after a few years it ended... Met someone else probably that breakup hurt the most still does 3 months now ... I train 2 X a day just to keep my head straight I quit smoking and organised my house to try get some control in a world where there is non .. Till now nothing has stopped me.... We all have our issue some bigger than others but we are not the first to hurt or will ever be the last
im crying when im hearing this, it happened about a month ago but still im in that storm. What not i didnt do, but still my nightmare came true, i didnt get out of my room for 5 days. She still talks to me but she knows where to get me and stabs me everytime with her actions everytime. Breakups are like the gym. It’s the most painful but it’s building you stronger mentally and emotionally. Also I really see that everything happens for a reason. & if you have a dream or a goal you want to accomplish, maybe just maybe she broke your heart because she wasn’t part of your dream and God is telling you to focus on what you were sent to this planet for & that he has something better at the end of the tunnel. So much now that I can’t handle it. I’m only 17 but I loved this person, I cared for this person more than anything in the world. Now she’s moved on after just one month. She’s found somebody else after just one month. This has been the most frustrating, most annoying, most depressing time of my life. It’s hard to eat. It’s hard to concentrate. I gave myself to her and her to me(virginity). Now I’m not one of those typical people to want to do that but she made me feel so worthy, so special that I thought it was right. We did it a decent amount of times. But each time, I put care, love, and passion into it. It’s like she doesn’t even care for my feelings anymore. After everything, swimming nights alone, stargazing, shopping, meeting families. I thought she was the one. But she was just the worst first breakup imaginable... that is what she was.

Jim Halpert I was with someone for a year and 3 months exactly. I’m in the same boat as you. I was there in her darkest time, and not once did leaving her cross my mind. She decided to up and leave for no reason, and every reason she gave was a total cop out. She hid the real reason and never wanted to tell me. At this point, I hope she goes through it again. Where her antidepressants run out and she goes back to cutting. I was the main one supporting her, and now she won’t have me there. Nobody is going to put up with all her mental issues like I did, but it’s not my problem anymore. The 19th of June makes 3 months apart instead of a year and a half. At this point she can go fuck herself.
Here is my story....
I always wanted to join the military academy. I am from a military family, military service in my country is the most honorable thing a citizen can do. I wanted to train soldiers, to teach young men how to survive in the worst case scenarios. Be a leader, a trooper to inspire the rest of the unit i would teach and instruct. To be a honorable man and a good person..those two i am. I went to the academy and...well. Out of 1000 candidates i was ranked number 71, they said that they wont accept anyone who had less than 70 points overall. I had 66.5, i thought nevermind...well it hurt, defeat was bad and it hurt like hell. But guess what? There were 2-3 guys who were accepted with 61 points. And i knew what time it was when i heard that...Next year i went to try again, and i met this girl...i fell in love with her. Something about her told me that she was the one and i put my dreams aside, since i had a ton of failed relationships i thought that finally my heart can be at ease. As time went by defeat and the wounds of the past were bigger and bigger. I was sad and scared of the future, and then my stepmother may she rest in peace passed...Father came into depression. I couldn't laugh at all, and she couldn't stand that big sobbing son of a bitch. (Me, a guy in army uniform (i am on the faculty for military engineers, demolitions department isnt the academy but oh well...)) And she left me...And when she left me it hit me as hard as fuck. That i didnt chase my dream...that i didnt get out onto the track that day to run the PET and do the math test for the military, to switch to artillery which is my dream. And guess what? I was fucked up. Yeah. 5 months have passed and a month and a half ago I CAME OUT. I FINALLY stood up and said "Fuck this...FUck...this. FUCK THIS!! YOU are the ONLY one who can help yourself! You want something? Go get out there and FUCKING, GET , IT." And i started preparing for the military again. I choose to walk in faith and in strength. Than to walk in fear and weakness....people look at me weird and they think i am strange but i dont give a crap. People think that that what they saw when we broke up when i had my bad year...that THAT guy was me. And finally my true me came out, the soldier in me started commanding me to march forward to "soldier" through it....And now i am better, stronger, i have developed faith in myself and my abilities. I used to be in a very long term relationship (7 years) until recently. She left because she had decided to pursue her dreams without me. I gotta be honest that I’m still recovering from that. We both had our future plans until she said she wants to do her own stuff.
I have learned that the only thing that’s left to do from now on is to keep on fighting for what you really have and would like to accomplish.

I circled back around to this video after finding it in a reallyyyy old playlist of mine, and honestly, it kinda made my heart sink.
This video pretty much saved my life when I was going through the worst breakup I’ve ever experienced, one that genuinely left me feeling helpless. To this day, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced as much emotional trauma and suffering as I did when I was in the thick of that breakup.
Now, about 6 years later, I’m living my dreams with my best friend who I’ve been with for the past 4 and a half years. To be completely honest, I don’t think that could’ve happened if I didn’t stumble upon this video as a heartbroken teenager.

I was in love with somebody for a year and a half and to have that person break up with me, destroyed me. The person cut me off completely and wouldn’t even answer any opportunities to reach out. Although I was completely heartbroken I began to slowly discover things about myself I had never known before and within 6 months I started to hurt and hurt less. Fast forward to today I am in a committed relationship with somebody who treats me like I never thought imaginable. The point for whoever reading is that no matter how hard it gets after a breakup there is always a light at the end of that tunnel. My love of 3 years and I broke up today. I’m broken and I feel like there’s no way out, no hope. We’ve done everything together. I can’t do anything or go anywhere without thinking of her. I’m not even safe in my own house. We always talked about marriage, and we always talked about being together forever. I thought it was real. The bond we had, the connection we had, it was amazing. But keep going, I never believed it when people said you'll get better, but it was true.
I had another breakdown today because I found out that she was sending this guy inappropriate pictures through snapchat. You may cry and get emotion now and then but put your time into something you love, take this time to become more confident and help better yourself. Its cliche to say, but it's TRUE.

So she’s actually talking to me and said we can possibly work things out, but she wants to build a friendship first, because when we met, we kind of just hopped straight into it and never became friends first. We played Halo together last night and it was really nice. I signed up for a boxing gym on Monday and have been there all week and it feels great. I just got out of a 9 month relationship and it feels like hell. Finding love from strangers and fiending for that love you used to have, it's dangerous. At the end of the day, all you can really do is sit there and take it. Cry if you have to, and scream if you have to. Take a trip, go outside, go for a walk, and surround yourself with people or dont. But the most important thing is to find joy. Because when you experience joy that you find yourself, you'll begin to realize you dont need your ex. You can begin to love yourself and you can begin to heal. Stay strong to anyone reading this.
This is me right effing now! My life was turned upside down when the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with left me to get back w the guy who was the father of her kids..even after we'd been dating for almost a year. She said the exact same words as you, she said she was doing it for her kids.. and I knew then as I know now she was trying to convince herself that it was true. I'm still going through it, and I wish I was the correct person to tell you something that might be miraculous or at least comforting, but I'm sorry! But people say time is the best healer, you need to go on and live your life, it's not easy to give up on someone who means so much to you, I'm still holding on hoping that it's just a bad phase! I don't know what's the end or where I'm headed to, but all I can say is I'm walking and I'm not standing still, I'm walking slowly, sometimes I stop but I start walking again!

@@nella10123 Stay strong, once you are broken up, never go back, make sure you have that in your head, second, focus on something, something great, do things that are so hard and so challenging, put yourself in a selfish state and focus on a big goal. For me it was training, my goal at the beginning was to look good and feel better about myself, and look at me now, my goal now is to win my ifbb pro card. Having a goal and having the drive to be great and having the discipline to do things you don't wanna do, will make you a better person, I have lied, cheated, and stolen, and those are things ill never do again, because I have been fucked over so many time, stay away from toxic people, I don't have many friends because good people are hard to find. But just put yourself in a mental state where all you care about is your goal, and do something big, #HWMF #YouGotThis #GetShitDone

M6BrokeMe i still feel pain but i decided to fill the empty void and decided to settle down with someone cuz i didnt wanna feel empty or lonely anymore. But time to time the previous pain returns and I just accept it cuz it just feels good ig. Thats what i was feeling when i felt nothing at all and now its stuck. The thing is love never dies, you may think you dont love your previous partner because of how wrong they did you but you’re just in denial and that brings nothing but hatred and you can never truly move on until you decide to accept that you love the person but doesnt mean you’re “in love”. I usually write poetry as a therapy been writing it for 7 years now and in order to not let my pain from my previous relationship get in the way of me truly loving my girlfriend, I decided to let every pain i felt from my ex out and call it closure because thats gonna be the last time i write about her.
That feeling of betrayal and being lied to is the lowest most painful feeling ever endured as much as it hurts now in time it will make me that much stronger thank you for this video

My daughter is successfull since the age of 16 and stiil is. Im s proud of her she recently went trough a mental abusive relationship. Only because she didnt needed anything from him . But only true cimmitment and to be loved . She is strong, intelegent, prividing for herself. The men that crossed her path, she turned boys into men . And than they walked off, she is broken but strong. But she is fighting and holding to the dream to get married and a family of her own . And that she wont give up on . I told her God is in charge and always wil be. Always count your blessings never your losses. She is my hero in many ways, her father wouldve been very proud the women she has become.
So you move on and keep strong. The pain will subside , and a total wonder life is still is coming. Believe it and go for it .
