Childhood was such a nice time while it lasted.
As someone who grew up in the suburbs of the US, this was very nostalgic for me. Thanks for making it and sharing it with us :)

it’s not even the effect liminal spaces have on you. i’ve actually been there.
i swear, i remember my parents dropping off me and my brother there. i don’t quite remember but i think we played hide and speak tag.
i remember taking turns swinging on the palm tree swing and pushing each other so it would spin. i was probably 6 or 7 at the time. pretty sure i forgot the name of the place though, and i was, like, 6 anyways.
0:00 after about 20 minutes of driving you finally get to the golf/play place, you can hear other kids having fun whilst your parents talk to the receptionist, you look to the play area and see the size of it, excitement fills you up more and more.
0:12 your parents sit on chairs surrounding a round table, you ask them if you can go to the play area,they say yes and you go to a area where alot of kids are at playing with the blocks, jumping on the padded floor, you decide to crawl into the playground
0:21 after about 3 minutes of climbing through the maze that is the play area you find yourself in a ballpit with a few other kids, you see that they're trying to get the balls through the netting and even the ceiling net and have been successful in some areas but you dont have time for that so you keep going through the play area
0:31 you leave the play area and into a small children area, you some toddlers jumping up,running around in the toddler area, you see a kid about your age and decide to greet them, their name is Jack who is currently babysitting their little brother that is currently walking around the tree, after some time you get to know Jack and his little brother comes to him and says he needs to go to the bathroom
0:41 you, Jack and his little brother walk towards the sitting area where his parents are, you pass a miniature golf course and some teenagers mucking around with the colored golf balls and flirting with each other, but none of you guys have tickets for golf so you pass on by
0:52 you three keep walking through out the building but you think you're lost but then Jack says that he knows a short cut and you pass to the soft matt playarea
1:02 after avoiding the small children, you and Jack talk a little more about each other and your interests, you can still hear the other kids having fun as you walk through the playarea, after some time you hit a dead end and turn back through the other direction
1:11 you, Jack and his little brother finally manage to get to main area, you three get to Jack's parents and they bring Jack's little brother to the bathroom and mention his name as Semore, after he gets his business done he says he wants to go back to the little kids area again so you three head back to the little kid's area again
1:22 you and Jack watch Semore play with other small kids, while you and Jack get bored but still watch over Semore
1:32 Semore sees a little kid indoor playground and goes to it, you and Jack have to follow and you decide to play hide and seek with Semore, Semore and you go hide as Jack counts to 20
1:43 you hide under the stair case as Semore goes and hides somewhere else, some other small kids are around and notice you are hiding and surround you, you try to tell the kids to shoo but they dont listen, Jack sees the little kids surrounding the area you are at and finds you, you and Jack decide to find Semore
1:52 you walk throughout the building near the prize area, you cant find Semore, you see at the distance Semore jumping into the ballpit, so you and Jack go towards the ballpit
2:03 you find Semore on the slide and he goes down the slide towards you guys,you suddenly hear Jack's parents yelling out his name, it turns out it's time to go, you also hear your parents yelling for you that it's time for you to go, you tell your parents about jack and they go meet his parents, you and Jack sit next to eachother and talk more to each other
2:13 after a few minutes your parents tell you it's time to leave, you wave at Jack and say goodbye one final time as you pass through the exit and go back to your car drive home
2:23 you go home and your parents tells you it's time for bed you look into your play room and think how much fun you had today, get in your pajamas and sleep in your bed whilst you parents close the door and head to their bedroom, you think about Jack and Semore and wish you could've spent more time with them, you close your eyes and slowly fall asleep

as someone who grew up poor and in a rural area with neglectful parents, I never really got to experience these as a kid. it's weird that this makes me nostalgic, it's like I'm nostalgic for an alternate reality childhood I never had.

When I was four, I dreamed that I went to a inside playground with more than 2,000 little movie theaters for 3 people.

Just then the lights went out in the play area children and parents were confused then the lights came back on but the playground was covered in darkness parents say they think they saw eyes looking out of the darkness everyone left that day except a woman name Abigail lighter she has been calling for her son Mathew lighter until the police forced her out 12 days later she committed suicide and left a note Abigail:I'm sorry to all that has to see and read this but I cant stay without my son I curse that play space for taking him I'll be with you soon baby I be with you soon -Abigail lighter 10 days later parents reported they heard crying and children happy laughter coming from that playground me and my team are going to investigate this is detective Xavier hikes with ghost hunter wells and survival expert Tristan Jones
Day1: every thing is going fine the same event happens after 3 minutes the light came back to the playground we cant find where we came in and it looks like theres a infinite play place were going to keep this log going to be safe
Day2: it was a ok rest we found a spot to make base we remove all the balls from a ball pit and made it home blocked off one side and left the other open wells said he believes in alternate universes and says that we are in one right now but our survival expert dosent believe that
Day3: we heard foot steps and have been searching for where it has come from we cant find the source
Day???:I think it's been 25 days since we have been in here it's just me and the survival expert now our ghost hunter has been taken by a strange creature I dont want to describe it the survival expert has been traumatized by the thing were calling it child arm and what was that

i lost my mom a few months ago, so the title hits hard. i remember playing in the mc donald’s playground and got so sad when my mom told me it was time to go. i can smell the fries and plastic toy bags now.
edit : i checked the upload date and it happened to be almost exactly 2 weeks before she passed, so it hits even harder now :,)

The mall's not very busy on weekdays, so I doubt that they had to wait until closing time to take the photo.
Not related really but I had a dream a few years ago I think it was a few years at least idk time is getting hard to remember but I had a dream of a HUGE play thing like in these liminal space pictures I have a few images left in my head but I think I was just running around just having fun with all these people and the whole building was just these play area things and was huge also I think I was looking for my older brother. But another one was outside and I was looking for my friends and it was completely dark but I remember having fun.

A mall where I live used to have a play area just like this!!! I would always go there as a kid with my grandma and my cousin!!! I would play hide and seek with random kids I remeber always hiding in the big tree thing
they removed the area though maybe 3 or 4 years ago which made me super sad when I heard about it because it was super nostalgic..the mall is pretty much dead now since after COVID all the stores started closing down as well :(
(it wasn’t the same one in the video but it was really similar)
