Thanks! Quite a few F40PHs were sold or leased to freight railroads before they were all scrapped. www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=471765&nseq=961
The Ohio Central System had a few old F40PHs, I think they ran a few freight trains with them before they disappeared into the locomotive storage tracks with all the other weird odds and ends Jerry Jacobson purchased. Turns out that locomotives geared for passenger service aren't the best freight locomotives...
Great scenery and love those tall Amtrak locomotives - very symmetrical, unlike the hideous F40PH's. What are thay called? Those aren't F59's are they? I had a free-lanced, N-scale empire called The Texas Central in the 80's, but have a question a Texan could answer. What is the topography of the Texas gulf coast? I know palm trees are around, but not been to that part of Texas.
Great Video and Greetings from Spokane WA.
