I'm lucky to own a 1847 Gothic crown I was left a collection of crowns in my grandfathers will 50 years ago, And you might of guessed that i have never stopped collecting them

As a Nigerian student in Britain in the seventies, I used metal detectors to collect the following, both in Wimbledon, London and Cheshire. Are they useful? 3 pence - 1943, 44, 56, 63 Half penny - 1921, 54 65 1 shilling - 1947 1 penny - 1904, 13 2 New pence - 1971 1New pence -1971, 73, 74, 74 Half New pence - 1971 x 4.

The 1933 that sold in 2016 in U.K was a Lavrillier "pattern" and was not one of the (more probable) 6 currency /proof specimens.
