Ah, this deck is what Konami is capable of doing on a good day. The mechanics are "simple" yet attaching the wrong card type may lead to issues (ya okay, VW?), and they can be countered most of the times by an Ash on Dog or Impermanence on Redoer, so it's quite balanced. It seems that I'll have to gather more gems again...
Luckily the only UR is Redoer--which you only need one of. And the pack also has the Psy-Frames and I:P Masquerena, so you'll have good cards even if you don't pull the Time Thieves.

Time thief is plat 1 worthy. But instead of how far they can go in ranked. I more focus on how much fun they can bring to me. I'm done for rank climbing since duel links, I hit kog every seasons for years and end up getting nothing. I can't really enjoy the game when climbing and that is no fun for me. Expecially MD is basically a coin tossing game.
Yeah, after watching this, I can say compared to the other videos this deck isn't new player friendly, got lost a few times trying to follow the plays. Definitely ranks right up there at annoying the opponents though...
Really fun deck i ran a janky version of the deck back during the xyz festival abd had tons of fun with it. Definitely will finish it someday when i got more stuff and ideas to put into it. I like the idea of mothman since a ton of the cards have uses in the grave and the deck definitely could use more level 4 special summons.
Man, Redoer is such a funny card, I've had one for a while but have yet to build a deck around him. Kinda want to open up that secret pack to fish for an I:P Maskerena and some Psy-Frame stuff anyway.
Now, let's just imagine how it would be if Time Thief, especially Redoer, were releases in DL. Oh, i would spent every single one of my gems in a deck like this
One of my favorite decks. Lol I have 3 different Time Thief decks. The pure, the raidraptor/phantom knight varient and a neat Orcust build I'm working on. I hope Konomi eventually gives Time Thief a bit more support. Would love a field spell, a continuous trap and another really good rank 4.......
I made 2 minor misplays in this video... 0:56 First duel I laugh so hard till I didn't realize I was going second... 17:50 Last duel my fat finger was accidentally picked monster from the deck instead of trap... But, i love this 2 duels, both of them are soooooo fun (and annoying) XD
I knew this video would be good when Ash got negated by Gamma, feels like playing Lonefire / Shira Solitaire The one TT I fought didn't had Draco future or the trap that attached to Redoer (As my decks run little to no traps) but otherwise, those 11 turns we're something really fun, and not just "Pseudo OTK cause you can't play", as the case with negates / floodgates everywhere (I lost cause he got rid of Aroma backrow) 6k Arrival Ignister: "I don't fear anything... But that thing 6:35, it's terrifying"
Got lucky and randomly got 2 of the time thief UR xyz so I looked at the rest of his archetype cards and they were SRs so I built it and oh boy I ended up playing some of the longest and most crazy duel I have ever played on ladder. People just don’t wanna read it and don’t realize that I have been stealing cards from their deck and grave.
@@DuelLinksMeme oh yeah as a general rule before you dismantle any UR cards you should look at related then make sure that you don’t have most of the archetype cards cause if you do don’t dismantle it. It’s much better to keep them for fun deck plays.
Forbidden droplet is insanely expensive irl and you used that counter trap on it and stole just as I did during a duel a year ago. "my droplet now" was the scariest thing that guy heard since I now had to PICK IT UP and out it under my card he wasn't happy. I made sure it was under redoer for a long time

The idea behind the combo is you can make force strix with any two lv4 monsters, force strix will search singing lanius or raiders' wing, then make a 2nd force strix to search whichever you didn't search earlier (or strangle lanius if you have both), use both strix to make UDF (insulated vs nibiru/handtraps), then golgonda discard any springans monster to summon merrymaker. Merrymaker on summon, send brothers to grave, brothers targets the springans you discarded with golgonda to SS it. If your SS off brothers is sargas, then you attach brothers to merrymaker. If you ss a lv4 (pedor or rockey), you can make redoer, then redoer detach to put the springans back in grave and equip both lv4 springans to merrymaker. You also run strangle lanius because after the merrymaker summon, you can use strangle to summon back raiders' wing and xyz for an untargetable redoer instead of needing a lv4 springans. Torrential is there because UDF cannot be destroyed by card effs, merrymaker and redoer both banish in chain to torrential so you have quick eff raigeki basically.
I play this one with a phantom knight and raidraptor mesh, it works better than it should mostly because of the dark attribute and the level 4 raidraptors
Xyz are my favorite summoning and the concept of just being mr steal your cards is fun. Whats Best is i want to build 3 decks and guess What? Its phantom knights and raidraptors, so i Can build the fourth variant which i’ve heard is good
Pure Phantom knight are not good. They have to play with Rhongo. On the other hand RR is very rare to meet in the ladder. But looks fun and expisove. (Madolche is another good xyz deck too)
That @Ignister player that destroys Driver and sents it to the graveyard so the next Gamma in hand is live, instead of just passing and letting it banish itself.
Put a redoer in the extra deck in my Traptrix deck cause what the hell. Then I encountered a Drytron player in ranked. Out of desperation, I summoned redoer on the field just to see what happens. It was an amazing feeling to steal every single combo card, from diviner to the cyber ritual spell rendering the Crytron player helpless

If you activate it and chain Perpetua, Flyback, or tribute Bezel Ship, you can turn it into a surprise monster negate, or steal Selene on activation to stop the other guy from making Accesscode. Still nowhere near as useful as Redoer, but the niche exists.
@@weaselprime2784 Still seems like a weird situation to be in. If you don't have Redoer, you want Redoer, and if you have Redoer you want Perpetua. If you have both and can go into another XYZ, you might as well just go into Utopic Draco Future Slash or whatever the hell its name is.

But if u are talking about game play, they are fun to play if ur opp hasn't ash lol, cuz it can negate redoer second effect even if u don't have attached Spell on him
Depending your definition of worthy... Plat 1 or fun? Yes. They are plat 1 potential. But 4000 gems might just enough to get a play set. But you still need other generic rank 4 tech like RR / Utopia to make them good enough for plat 1. If just for fun. Yes. A pure version is fun enough for you to enjoy.
@@DuelLinksMeme I’m a firm believer 1 copy of Maxx “C” is ok in a deck. It brings a different kind of strategy into the game plus both player can use it without any restriction. Imagined Maxx “C” having a restriction effect of only being able to be use if your graveyard contain only insect monster, then that would be an unfair advantage for pure insect decks.
If the title is just annoying deck, i wouldve voted for Eldlich. I wonder how does Eldlich players feel about their deck. P/s: Mid range Eldlich and his artwork is cool btw
Toxic control Eldlich definitely is boring and annoying both against and to play as sometimes even the players also have to beware of their own floodgates. Which is why I kinda frustrated hearing people talking and hating Eldlich because I like him but not that variation, I like playing decks as pure as possible or at least let both side plays. My Eldlich is Zombie World version that mainly focusing on Fusion and Xyz (Even Synchro sometimes, Ash is a tuner you know), it's balanced as decent firepower for more aggressive play and some defensive plans (not too much) and adaptability not just relying on the Golden lord himself alone.

We need more special summon for rank 4. Mothman is a good option special summon or draw one card.

There’s no greater feeling than stealing an opponent’s card needed for a combo. Herald of Ultimateness or Eldlich being good examples.
Try the left leg of exodia in magical library deck with them not realizing so they drew out.
When I can accumulate enough gems again, I’d like to create the “yoink” archetype.

time thief in traptrix doesnt go out that often though. This deck uses him as an actual boss monster and supports him instead of a neat tech option

the effect too situational. The only reason to put in this deck. Because it's look cool.
If you activate it and chain Perpetua, Flyback, or tribute Bezel Ship, you can turn it into a surprise monster negate, or steal Selene on activation to stop the other guy from making Accesscode.
Still nowhere near as useful as Redoer, but the niche exists.
@@weaselprime2784 Still seems like a weird situation to be in. If you don't have Redoer, you want Redoer, and if you have Redoer you want Perpetua. If you have both and can go into another XYZ, you might as well just go into Utopic Draco Future Slash or whatever the hell its name is.
Is there a good replacement for the 2nd Redoer?

The best deck right now is Zoodiac Tribrigade. That card revolt is just too busted

@@Yunalancer I got to Plat 1 with time thief raidraptors in Jan and pure (exepct some quick launch additions) in Feb if u are taking about their ladder potential. But if u are talking about game play, they are fun to play if ur opp hasn't ash lol, cuz it can negate redoer second effect even if u don't have attached Spell on him

Yes. They are plat 1 potential. But 4000 gems might just enough to get a play set. But you still need other generic rank 4 tech like RR / Utopia to make them good enough for plat 1.
If just for fun. Yes. A pure version is fun enough for you to enjoy.

@@DuelLinksMeme I’m a firm believer 1 copy of Maxx “C” is ok in a deck. It brings a different kind of strategy into the game plus both player can use it without any restriction. Imagined Maxx “C” having a restriction effect of only being able to be use if your graveyard contain only insect monster, then that would be an unfair advantage for pure insect decks.

Better than stun decks i guess since they actually try to win
Toxic control Eldlich definitely is boring and annoying both against and to play as sometimes even the players also have to beware of their own floodgates. Which is why I kinda frustrated hearing people talking and hating Eldlich because I like him but not that variation, I like playing decks as pure as possible or at least let both side plays. My Eldlich is Zombie World version that mainly focusing on Fusion and Xyz (Even Synchro sometimes, Ash is a tuner you know), it's balanced as decent firepower for more aggressive play and some defensive plans (not too much) and adaptability not just relying on the Golden lord himself alone.
