The reality of the situation is capcom is dangling Megaman's lifeless corpse; hoping to draw people in via nostalgia.
The new artstyle looks just like Mighty No. 9; and we know how much that game was loved. And besides: if old school fans are going to applaud this new design; that also means they've gotta open their minds and realize 7, 8 and Bass were great games too; which is hard when some fans only accept 8 bit Megaman.

There is a key difference. At the time, we trusted Inafune, but that trust is now shattered. I even begin to wonder if he was the real reason there had been screwups at Capcom. He had his chance to proove himself and failed, if anything, Capcom cant make it worse...as long as they dont make it like X7

Anyone else feels nostalgia for this trailer and the hype that was there at that time? Is that, I find it strange that it has already been released and when I watch this video again, I see memories of those times of December of 2017 with all the hype that this trailer gave.
That year was very difficult for me and more at that time but this announcement with so much hype was one of the things that motivated me that tragic December and that now is part of the memories of those times that I have a lot of nostalgia and I would like to relive that month or even the whole year :"/

That video was bad-ass and completely sold me on the new game. I've loved Mega Man since I was a kid, renting the first one and putting many hours into it until I finally finished it. It was such an achievement because I was just a kid. I had never put so much effort into anything in my life at that point, and if you finished MM1 then you know it was no small amount.
NES changed me, and MM1 was one of one of the biggest reasons.

The first thing on my recommendations after Mega Man’s 32nd Anniversary.
Wow, time goes by really fast.
Depicting XOver as a pit of death spikes Mega Man just Rush Jets over and pretends never happened.... I don't know if that's intentional or not, but if so, it's amazing.
They don't even highlight or showcase it. Safe to assume it's hated internally.
What even was it?
A strange little mobile game. It was pretty terrible, and didn't exactly follow the traditional formula..at all.
A mega Man auto runner for mobile phones. Fans especially hate it because it was the only thing besides merch they released on Mega Mans 25th anniversary.
It was also really horrible. Apparently, somebody made a better version of it IN FLASH within a couple of hours.

1-To have more than the standard 12 stages (8 robot master stages and 4 wily stages).
2-More references to old MM enemies, themes, etc.
3-New mod to battle the Stardroids.
4-A better themes with a nostalgic feelings, So far only fuse man theme is great.

This was a really good trailer! Small detail nobody pointed out yet: The 2018 sign has a background with rotating gears (I think from Metal Man's stage) which was a hint toward the Double Gear system and the gear theme in general. Looking forward to Mega Man 12!

6 years later, and the trailer still conveys the same strong emotions as it did the first time I saw it. This was not just a trailer. It was also a signal of hope, heralding the immortality of Blue Bomber and his legacy. Mega Man, X, Zero... Forever in our souls.
I expected retro graphics like Megaman 10, but I am LOVING how this looks.

The reason Mighty No. 9 bombed was because of mismanagement on Inafune's part. He squandered the money used via kickstarter for other things like planning a TV show. He even used an outdated engine for the game.
If he was still working for Capcom, they'd probably put him in his place.
He is at his place, out of the company (and should probably be out of the industry at this point). He only drew early char concepts back then, no wonder he can't design game mechanics or manage backers' money properly.
He can already super charge and change forms like Mighty does, so yea... just be good MM11.

Los fans en su momento pidieron un DLC para integrar a Protoman y Bass como jugables, pero todo había quedado en un "veremos, depende de las ventas". Al final, quedó claro que no se hizo DLC alguno, el juego estaba completado a criterio de la compañía.
Y bueno, Megaman 11 fue uno de los Megaman más vendidos de la franquicia, si no me equivoco ya alcanza el millón y medio de copias, pero eso no es suficiente comparado con otras franquicias del mercado, incluyendo otras de Capcom como puede ser Resident Evil o Street Fighter.
Aun así, durante 2019 el equipo detras de todo lo asociado a Megaman dejó claro que están trabajando en un próximo juego, pero no dieron detalles.
Para tu alivio, hay información que es probable que durante el proximo año se anuncie un nuevo Megaman, y que este tuvo un presupuesto inusual para lo que es un juego de Megaman.

I’m not a fan of the art direction but at this point I don’t care. I’m so thankful that we finally get megaman 11. Plus I know it will change and improve over 1 WHOLE year. If any developer sees this comment, I want you to know the style as it is looks bland and uninspired. Don’t be afraid to get creative and add some more color into it. It’s megaman for gods sake!

I'm honestly surprised to see how good this looks. Granted, the animation looks a bit wonky at times, but it's at least better than Mighty No. 9 where Beck had like a thousand frames of animation before he jumped. Some of the backgrounds look plain, but at least they don't stand out more than the characters. The brick power-up looks like a lot of fun since it compliments the level design, but I'm worried it will make the game too easy. As always, the character designs look solid, and I hope there's more good designs awaiting in the full game. I'm not gonna get my hopes up too high, but at least the game looks promising.
Sonic Forces killed my ability to hope from advertisements alone. If Sonic Team had been working on this, I would immediately assume the Logo covering the special ability was actually a cover-up of something underwhelming and damaging to their product in an attempt to raise hype. I gotta see the final product! Showing me 5 seconds of the best isn't enough! And yes, Capcom, the only people who will notice you've brought Megaman games back are people who've played the first Megaman, but stop rubbing in our face the long adventure... That was a fun ride, but it's too obviously a shot at the nostalgia crew and wasted 3 minutes of footage.

This game still has a whole year to develop, I'm confident they'll change up the visuals by the time the game releases next year.

Nate mn9 was just fine and the animation was leagues better than this stiff garbage trying too hard to emulate the 8bit games. MegaMan refuses to progress beyond the 8bit games.

I love how when Megaman uses that new robot master power, the visual change is more than just a change in color. Mighty No. 9 did that, and I'm glad that this game is doing it too.
