In the show's only interview, singer Myles Kennedy sits down with Mitch at the HEAVY MONTREAL festival and discusses the band's upcoming The Last Hero album, his upcoming solo album, how the Guns N' Roses reunion was a shot in the arm for rock, and more.

The Last Hero sound: "We kind of found our place musically. We try to be as dynamic as possible. The key is to convey a certain emotion, a certain honesty and something universal that people can relate to."
A quick return to Slash's band? "We put some much into this record and I think it would be appropriate to really go out and promote it and play as many different regions as we can and not cut that short. As far as Slash goes that's going so well so I don't see that slowing down anytime soon."
On Slash telling him about the Guns N' Roses reunion: "When he told me... there's always a feeling inside that eventually it was going to happen. It was such an incredible band and I think it was inevitable so when he told me I think the first thing I said was, 'You guys are going to make a lot of people extremely happy. Myself included.'"

I hope one day that Myles writes an autobiography about his life mostly because his life has to be interesting, but also hoping that he would go into a little more detail about the meeting with the Zeppelin guys. He always keeps it a mystery
