I think that’s what the game needs more of, more generic tags/blanket tags. This way you can create the X-men team you want or avengers, so on n so forth

I'm kind of glad it's Gambit instead of Storm. My Storm needs A LOT of work. I think mine is still level 70-80 range and gear 13 or 14. Possibly 15 (if she is at 80). My Gambit though is already gear 17, level 95, 7-red stars, Blue ISO L5, and I plan on taking him to gear 18 for DD6. So adding him to this new team just makes it a little more worth taking him into DD6 and throwing everything else into him that I have to unlock Apocalypse and getting a 7-star Apocalypse (I'm done with the Apocalypse Saga stuff). Just means there is life/use for Gambit after Apocalypse and DD6 and he won't be shelved.
Good thing I plan on taking my Gambit into DD6 (already at 95, but I did that to make the Apocalypse stuff easier), and that I just opened a 7-red star orb and got 7-red stars for my Cyclops. Gives me a head start for this new team.
I managed to pull two diamonds for Gambit back during the Shield Satellite event and he is now my most powerful character by a substantial margin so I feel similarly about this
The taunt wasn't removed they said when the AI plays your team on SIM it will apply taunt, It's to help people SIM the raids not for players who play the team so you can auto win the nodes

I already wanted to bring him to dd6 and dd7, plus we already have him built big for apoc, so it’s one less character to spend gold on, Storm just has way too large of cooldowns to be useful outside of raids. Although I would’ve liked to see more x-men ally benefits to the reworks.
ANY Xmen shuould just be non specific. IE change all xmen, instead of using "unlimited, xtreme, xforce, etc" just use "xmen" since theyre all technically in the same team, just all interchangable in different teams.
It may lead to an unhealthy meta, such as jubilee passive giving speed bar on enemy death to far more powerful characters than originally intended, etc 🤷♂️

I'm excited for them, 3 of my favorite X-men. Sunspot was always my favorite from New Mutants. Forge is another favorite of mine, loved when he made a gun that can kill the Hulk and when Hulk saw that it was the gun that Maestro used on him, he freaked out and destroyed it.
Forge's passive random effects are really cool but there is very few. ALMOST amazing! Also not too much X-treme X-men specific bonuses are really good. Open to other team ups from X-men.

Right now I, preparing to build for dd6, I have apoc and quicksilver ready, I wonder if I should hold out and build sunspot and nightcrawler and pair with gambit for the 3 other holes… sunspot gives a lot of that extra damage
i feel like gambit would be the one id replace over cyclops if need be sure gambit gives 50% health to the team but that cyclops ult and hiss passive turn meter to forge just seem to good to lose also giving that this is the December/January patch i think that were gonna get a lot of xmen reworks alongside some symbiote reworks since were only getting 5 new toons and onlyn 2 confirmed reworks so far for a 2 month patch
Forge heals 5% on "ANY TURN" that is pretty unique, it may not matter in CC or War, but will be very interesting in Dark Dimension and useful in raids. Hopefully he is cheap for DD, the inventions sound like a cool game mechanic too.
nice now gambit will be even harder to kill in crucible defense, the new xmen team on defense in crucible is going to be forge, gambit, rogue, sunspot and nightcrawler.
I’m just thrilled Cyclops got an upgrade. It was always weird to me that Cyclops passive was restricted to uncanny when he’s the most popular and best leader in the history of mutantkind. Weird team though.
The team seems like a ton of RNG. Forges inventions, turn meter under various conditions.....I'm sure it will be great for this Raid, but for any pvp game modes, we typically need things to happen in a set way
@@redsmokeOGyou need to rewatch the video. Apparently you don’t listen or read. His basic applies slow and auto defense down now. His special gives buffs to the team. His ultimate has a no revive mechanic and gets a tremendous amount of damage. His passive is less restricted now. And he has some major stat boosts. He already hit pretty hard before the 30% increase and was considered a glass canon, now’s he’s got health.
Overloaded kits are going to be the future, I guess. I'm way more interested in reworks at this point. I'd also love for characters to be redesigned as well. The MCU looks are horrible.

In Crucible you can swap Fantomex with Nightcrawler to give Unlimited X-Men all of those extra buffs and stat boosts, plus the 20% turn meter.

Yea 40 charges, whenever that happens and only in raids, there’s also multiple character that clear charges now
