+tuneo navegador Im sorry for the late answer. I had the CD6000, so i dont know if V2C still works. Maybe it works with additional Android software you install on the radio, but im also not sure if your original microphone still works after replacing your sony radio. Maybe you have to use the new micro which comes with a such a radio, but i think your original V2C won't work with it.

TheScords Hey, ich habe seit ca. 7 Monaten zwar ein anderes Auto, kann aber sagen, dass sich das Android Radio absolut bewährt hat in dem Zeitraum in dem ich es hatte (Vorher war das cd 6000 eingebaut). Ich hab damit hauptsächlich Musik über Bluetooth gehört und das Navigationssystem verwendet. Hab sogar noch später eine Rückfahrkamera installiert. Ich denke, dass die neueren Radios sogar noch deutlich besser sind aufgrund der höheren Prozessor- und Arbeitsspeicherleistung. Ich würde es wieder kaufen :-)

Hi, no problem. Im pretty sure you're able to install google maps, because the radio was like an normal android phone. You also could change the navigation software for the navi button (i used navigon for instance). I'm not sure which features you mean, but mostly the translations were quite well. But it was a radio from china, so they might have used google translate :-P
@@TheFailbag No problem. I've found the solution already😉 Illumination wire was connected to Can Bus. I had to cut it and connect to power of headlights. It works perfectly
+Fabian Müller Das war bei mir schon voreingestellt, das kann ich aber in den Werkseinstellungen ändern. Da kannst du dann alle möglichen Logos auswählen, u.a. das Ford-Logo.

+VikingFit Yea, still satisfied. Works still fine! But i think if you buy one now, you'll get a newer Android version than mine has (mine has 4.2). Not sure if there are some differences (hardware). The sound quality is great, better as the sound of the cd6000 in my opinion. You can also use an equalizer if you want. I mainly use it for navigation and music via bluetooth.
Awesome, I just ordered an updated version from www.eonon.co.uk/Android-Car-GPS/GA5162F.html - They are slightly more expensive than ebay, but it seems that they have much better support and quality control than the other brands. Can't wait! :)

Hallo, das Radio wurde aus Deutschland versandt, hat damals ca. 340 Euro gekostet. Der Händler kam aber vermutlich aus China. Hab's auf eBay gekauft. Der Einbau ist sehr einfach. Adapter war dabei.
TheSiMpLyCoRe Klar, ist der ganz normale Standard Androidbrowser. Solange du Internet hast kannst du ganz normal surfen und jeden anderen Browser auch installieren.
+Gordon Scicluna I'm not sure, but i think it doesnt work. At least with mine. There's a cable you can connect and then it works on 1. (so not ignition, which is 2.). I feel better when its completely shut down when the car isn't turned on, because i wasn't sure if it's using battery .
Hast du es irgendwie hinbekommen dass das Teil auch ohne Zündung an läuft? Hab meins mit dem Quadlock Adapter an den CANBUS angeschlossen, soweit so gut, nur dass es nur bei eingeschalteter Zündung läuft stört mich etwas.....habe mittlerweile die erweiterte Version mit Quadcore, da beträgt die Bootzeit nur noch knapp 10 Sekunden, alles andere ist auch super, bin ansonsten wirklich zufrieden mit dem Teil....
alexnordhoff Ja, das geht auch. Ich habe da ein rotes Kabel, das man einfach hinten am Radio zusammensteckt, dann startet es auch auf Stufe 1. Kann dir aber leider im Moment nicht sagen was das genau ist, müsste ich bei Gelegenheit mal nachschauen. Ist auch beschriftet und kommt aus dem Stromanschluss des Radios heraus und wird dann auf der Gegenseite mit dem Kabel am Adapter zusammengeschlossen. Hast du auch so ein Kabel "über"?

Problem ist bei mir schlicht das ich keine "Stufe 1" habe, dank keyless Go.... das ist , wenn überhaupt, aber auch der einzige negative Punkt. ich habe den direkten Vergleich zum fest eingebauten Navi im Audi A6 von 2009 (Focus gehört meiner Lebensgefährtin) und da gibt es nicht vieles zu vermissen beim günstigen China Navi. Funktioniert super, Rückfahrkamera funktioniert direkt auch vorm Hochfahren des Geräts! Navi, Bluetooth, Wlan etc funktioniert bisher alles tadellos, sind sehr zufrieden.

Hi, the packaging said "pumpkin", but i am not sure if thats the brand of the radio. The store was called pumpkin on ebay. Maybe look in the manual, i was able to connect a (red) cable and it worked in acc too.
Hi, I'm electrical engineer and I did some tests with the radio can bus box (in Eonon Radio the can bus box is outside) and in ACC key position the box doesn't interpret the code, and in the car there are no voltage in ACC position, so it's impossible that radio works in that way. If you connect the radio to VCC the issue will be that when you turn off the engine the radio will continue working.
Yea, you're absolutely right. That's why I disconnected this cable, because I wasn't sure if the radio was still working when I turned off the car. So my radio only worked with ignition turned on. But had no issues with this android radio until I sold it in december 16, got a Seat Leon FR 2016 now. But since then the radio was absolutely worth the 340 euros, even though it got a bit slow at the end for newer apps (dual core and 1 gb of ram).
My Eonon radio is windows CE, I paid 200€, but because of this issue and because of radio lights works only manually, the ebay seller gave back my money. Now I'm afraid to buy an android radio, because I can have other "surprises", you never know with these Chinese things. Please, How do you update Android apps? Does your radio come with Wi-Fi? Sorry, i dont speak spanish, german and english only :P. Alright, i heard the Windows CE radios are much slower than the android ones. And i know what you mean, i was afraid too when i bought one, especially because i didnt know if i really can send it back if the seller is really from china. But overall i was very happy with my radio, worked very well all this time till i sold the car. I think i would by one again, even if theyre more expensive than the windows radios. The android is just a normal android system, so you can log in to your google account and use all apps from the google store. My (and i think the other ones too) had wifi, so you could connect to any hotspot to update your apps. Mostly i used it to listen to music via bluetooth. Also you can use any navigation software from google playstore. Im not sure if you can update the android version of the radio, i didnt do it because it worked well so far. My radio even was sent from germany and arrived in 2 days! Edit: Later i also installed a reverse cam, so if you go into reverse it showed the picture of the camera (in the video it says "no signal" before that). Greetings :)

Rick GC Nah, that wasnt a problem. Everything i needed was included, GPS antenna for instance. Just had to plug the radio on the original connector. Bought the radio for 340 €. Automatic volume wont work anymore (with CD 6000 it got louder/turned down the volume automatically) and the radio takes some time to boot. I also installed a reverse camera, so when you shift into reverse gear you can see the back, that took some time ;)
If you have the Premium Version you can download playlists. but spotify needs to be connected to the internet from time to time, otherwise it will delete downloaded playlists.

Hi, 1. The shop was called pumpkin_coolstore on ebay. The seller was from China i think, but the radio was stored and sent from Germany. If you search for "android radio ford focus" you will find the fitting android radios. I think my seller (bought the radio in november 2014) is called "e-coolstore2015" now. 2. It's an android system. You can use the radio just as an android smartphone. So you can install every .apk and use google play store. 3. My car only has aux which still works with my radio. Dont know if USB will still work, but usually the radio has USB too (i only use music via bluetooth which is very comfortable). 4. Same as 2. 5. I was a novice too :) The hardest part was to remove the cover in order to get to the screws of your old radio. The installation of the radio is quite easy, just plug in the adapter and that's it. Later i also installed a reverse cam, that was a lot work ;-)

+Gordon Scicluna i figured out that no antenna booster is effective. FActory antenna is good, you have to make sure that connection is good and cable is not twisted and well shielded. It now works well for me with factory antenna and a GOOD adapter.

Nein, die Farbe konnte man einfach im Menü des Radios ändern.
ich meinte der Schalter fuer Scheinwerfen An-aus. von 0.40 min bis 0.48 min zeigst. Bei mir geht immer des Radio beleuchtung.
Dazu musste ich nichts machen. Das hat einfach durch den CAN-Bus funktioniert.

+Davy Huygen Do you mean the navigation software? You can download any software from Google Play Market, but the full version of iGo was preinstalled.

Yeah I don't know what sort of software it's built on. But I like the design of it. Does your DVD player plays DVD when you're driving the car ?

Rick GC Nah, that wasnt a problem. Everything i needed was included, GPS antenna for instance. Just had to plug the radio on the original connector. Bought the radio for 340 €.
Automatic volume wont work anymore (with CD 6000 it got louder/turned down the volume automatically) and the radio takes some time to boot.
I also installed a reverse camera, so when you shift into reverse gear you can see the back, that took some time ;)

How did you installed Spotify?
it's a normal android system. you can log into your google account and download it from google play store.
TheFailbag doesnt it use internet?
If you have the Premium Version you can download playlists. but spotify needs to be connected to the internet from time to time, otherwise it will delete downloaded playlists.

MegaKroKro Hi, geb einfach mal auf Ebay "Ford Android Radio" ein, falls du das mit Android haben willst, das oberste Ergebnis müsste es sein. Ich denke das ist das gleiche das ich habe, nur mit einer neueren Android Version. Die Beschreibung ist jedenfalls fast die gleiche.

Was etwas stört ist die lange Startzeit am Anfang (wie im Video zu sehen) und dass bei meinem Radio nur das interne Mikro funktioniert, und das ist ziemlich leise beim Gegenüber. Die anderen haben anscheinend externe Mikros.

I bought mine one year ago, i have got the older 4.2 version. but it still works fine, would buy it again. only thing is that the microphone isnt that good, but the one in the link has got an external microphone, so it shouldnt be a problem.
I payed 340 € for mine one year ago!

1. The shop was called pumpkin_coolstore on ebay. The seller was from China i think, but the radio was stored and sent from Germany. If you search for "android radio ford focus" you will find the fitting android radios. I think my seller (bought the radio in november 2014) is called "e-coolstore2015" now.
2. It's an android system. You can use the radio just as an android smartphone. So you can install every .apk and use google play store.
3. My car only has aux which still works with my radio. Dont know if USB will still work, but usually the radio has USB too (i only use music via bluetooth which is very comfortable).
4. Same as 2.
5. I was a novice too :) The hardest part was to remove the cover in order to get to the screws of your old radio. The installation of the radio is quite easy, just plug in the adapter and that's it. Later i also installed a reverse cam, that was a lot work ;-)

Its noname - but the packaging had "pumpkin" written on it, because the store was called "pumpkin coolstore". maybe search for " pumpkin android radio"

i figured out that no antenna booster is effective. FActory antenna is good, you have to make sure that connection is good and cable is not twisted and well shielded. It now works well for me with factory antenna and a GOOD adapter.
