My son’s first ever ride at Disney when he was 5 and he thought we were flying for about 10 seconds until he realized how it worked. But for that 10 seconds he felt magic and so did we!
I was also his age and thought the same. Took my son when he was 6, and he thought it was cool but was never fooled. Rise of resistance, and Tower of Terror took him to a new world though.
First ride really we always came into the park and went to the right through that shut down food place to tommrowland and started there so everyride i first rode started in tommrow land alien then turned into stitch and buzz light year the people mover um whats the other one there where u sit in a theater and it changes cant rember space mountain to this day still one of my favs i rember as a kid being told if u put your hands up on that ride u would dmack your hands every ride space mountain with the lights on way diffrent lol
So u walked to this ride for his ride why we'll sorry whatever enjoy what ever I walk in main street and take one of two aide usally tomorrow land first or adve ture land I think woth pirates
I'm 35. Went to Disney for the first time this year. And I loved it ! This ride was one of my favorites. So cute and fun. I honestly felt like a kid again in the best way !
I’m the same age I went for the first time in 93 It was wonderful I also got to see the original Snow White dark ride before the 94 refurbishment: pure nightmare fuel Type Snow Whites Adventures: someone posted a video of it from 92 I think It’s amazing
to all of the people who have to vacation to experience disney, i truly do wish you all safe travels and well wishes!! i used to go a lot when i was younger ( as a florida native ), but passes got too expensive to keep up with. i hope after this pandemic you all can go and experience something lovely and beautiful with your family. i don’t frequent disney (as i’m more of a universal fan), but when i was younger, disney’s magic inspired me to really love engineering and ride/show techniques. watching these reminded me of when i was younger and pretending to be on rides and then going to ride them. many of you might not have this privilege, but i wish you all one day would be able to experience the magic that is the disney theme parks.
This is the one ride that I wasn’t able to go on a couple of weeks when I was at Disney World. The standby line was constantly over an hour and all the lightning lanes were booked up. So this is a great way to experience it since I didn’t get the chance to in person
I was suppose to got to Disney world for spring break, but I couldn’t because of what’s happening rn, and this is my favorite ride so I’m like tearing up 😂 😢
I remember i was 3 when i rode this and i have very faint memories of this ride but i do remember it was trippy for me and it actually felt like i was flying, aaahhh the feeling of disney rides never get old..
Same. But I was told it didn't have the buildings getting smaller at the beginning, glad to know I was right and not going insane 😂 I'd love to go on this ride again
The best part of this ride as a kid was looking down at the city at the beginning and seeing a half dozen iphones just chilling at the bottom where people dropped them while trying to take a picture lol
This both cracked me up and made me feel so grateful for having had the opportunity to enjoy the sheer magic of the Peter Pan dark ride (although in Paris) pre smart phones
I'm going to Disney world for my 4th time this May 2020!🎢 and I'm soo excited 😍😍 watching all the Disney rides again, getting myself super pumped for it ☀️
I went on the ride in March and the last time I went on it I was in kindergarten I didn’t really remember much I only remembered the beds in the wait line but after we were going over London it brought back a lot of memories and I felt little again watching this video makes me miss it because it was the only ride I remembered the last time I went to any Disney park
Whenever I see the outside of the Peter Pan ride I feel like sobbing because it reminds me of when we’d rush to get on IASW and then see this ride across from it and just - AAA
I remember getting on this ride and getting stuck on it first second. It scared the crap out of me and my sister. We were in front of wendy looking back in fourth looking dead in the eyes at us.
God the Hook audio is so damn bad, it never fails to bug the hell out of me whenever I ride this thing. It sounds like they grabbed some hapless imagineer and forced him to record the lines because Hans Conried was too busy. He literally sounds nothing like Hook from the movie. Could we not just grab Corey Burton real quick to do some new Hook and Smee audio? The fact they still haven't changed it is kind of ridiculous. As people have said, this WDW version of this ride really does need an update. Something similar to the Alice in Wonderland update they did in Disneyland a couple years ago.
My biggest heart break is not being able to take my son too Disneyland when he was little, I really hope that he will take his daughter, I grew up near Disneyland, so close we could watch the fireworks at night, so I went a lot but moved away and was never able to go back.
Thank you so much for the video! I am looking at videos of rides so I can make a list of what my cousin might like to ride when we go. I love these smaller rides that go slower but a lot of them the cars are still moving as you get into them, I understand they probably do that so they can get you in and out faster. But my cousins disability makes it to where it’s hard for him to walk or to walk fast and these rides where the cars continue to move are a little scary to me! Just wanted to voice that incase anyone else was having the same issue as me. But once again love the video and it’s helping me so much plan this trip!
Great memories hope this ride doesn’t get dismantled like Mr Toads wild ride and Snow Whites dark ride. I get they made the mine coaster but still. It’s memories and nostalgic, classic and part of history. Pinocchio dark ride would have been neat. I still remember when you take flight on Peter Pan on the ship and that’s the best part. I loved watching the city overhead was the coolest part. It felt so magical as a kid lol I used to dislike seeing the other riders on the flyig ships close by 😂 it ruined the magic and the sense of being you the only one there experiencing the movie and tinkerbells dust
What camera/ lens / settings do you use to capture that kind of dark ride so brightly? PPF is still my favorite ride in all of WDW.(nostalgic reasons, of course). I'd love to record it this brightly for home videos.
One of those rides where you forget how good it really is until you’re on it again. I went with a group and they got lightning lane for this and I thought it was a waste until I stepped onto the ride.
I remember the first time I rode this ride. I was about 4 or 5 and stood up too fast at the end of the ride. I ended up hitting my head on the cart I was in. It hurt a lot.
I was grateful enough to go to Disney World in 2019 but my aunt, uncle and my cousins came with me, my family and my nan and pap, and I begged and begged them to let me go on it but they said no because apparently it's 'too babyish' but Peter Pan (both live action and cartoon) is my favourite film!! I was so bummed but hoping when just me and my family go I can go on it!!
I went on this like 10 years ago when i was like 7, thought i was actually flying, to this day i still dont know , no one tell me its probably obvious how it works once your there but because i was a kid my mind today thinks i actually flew
The description of the ride says small drops. Couldn't notice any in the video. I get really nervous for any of the quick rides or anything with drops...do you notice anything on this one or is it pretty chill?

Hello hope u have gone in the 4 years you commented this! Be safe!
Anyone else watching to get pumped for their disney trip?😂 bc Ik i am😂
Me!!!!
When r u going?
I’m going in March
Omg same! I’m going March 13th
me~!
This is the one ride that I wasn’t able to go on a couple of weeks when I was at Disney World. The standby line was constantly over an hour and all the lightning lanes were booked up. So this is a great way to experience it since I didn’t get the chance to in person
the stands by line was 2 hours for me and my parents forgot to books fast passes
and then it became night and we watched the fireworks
It’s always like that, best bet is to get on it right after or during fireworks
They need to start building duplicate rides or (duplicate tracks) to cut down the wait time.
Same here
I was suppose to got to Disney world for spring break, but I couldn’t because of what’s happening rn, and this is my favorite ride so I’m like tearing up 😂 😢
I miss disney soo much I hope it opens back soon
sameeeeeee

The attention to detail is so realistic! I especially love the floating Exit sign at 1:21.
Almost like there are laws that they have to have exits in case of emergencies! How dare they follow safety protocols!
You have a fursona PFP, your jokes and opinions are no longer valid…
It's the Exit from the The Pagemaster
I don’t care what people say your never to old for Disney
I remember i was 3 when i rode this and i have very faint memories of this ride but i do remember it was trippy for me and it actually felt like i was flying, aaahhh the feeling of disney rides never get old..
same with me! i went to disney when i was 3 and havent been since, but we are going to go sometime in beetween october 2021 to october 2022
Same. But I was told it didn't have the buildings getting smaller at the beginning, glad to know I was right and not going insane 😂 I'd love to go on this ride again
SAMMEEE i was like 5 and i always thought this ride was a dream
I don't remember it being so... Neon
Me neither, I went back in 92
When it's pitch black you can see a bit of a pink tint, my guess is that whoever recorded the video slapped a filter on it
I think there’s a bit of a filter on it to make it look brighter
Some of these ridethroughs are filmed with the fancy Ultra 4K low-light cameras; check out the ones for Pirates and Mansion!
Last I went was 96 and they did change some things since them
The best part of this ride as a kid was looking down at the city at the beginning and seeing a half dozen iphones just chilling at the bottom where people dropped them while trying to take a picture lol
This both cracked me up and made me feel so grateful for having had the opportunity to enjoy the sheer magic of the Peter Pan dark ride (although in Paris) pre smart phones
As much as I love this ride it badly needs a refurbishment and update.
You are just growing up
Theyre closing it this week to refurbish
Omg, that's what I was thinking too
it’s getting one next year!!
@@rapmusiccritic6008 Refurb is almost complete. I work there.
There’s one ride in Magic Kingdom that will forever be my favorite and it will always be this one. I love you,Peter Pan’s Flight now and forever!
You’ll NEVER gonna ‘be a man’
Peter paaaaan
You’re always gonna fly away just cuz you KNOW you can
The rides at Disney are so beautiful.
For real
Daniel King, oh...
The Peter Pan's flight in Disney world really needs an update

2:15 - 'The ship was a model... as big as this... a clever deception indeed!'
This was one of my favorite rides as a kid. Good time.
Love this ride,it was beautiful, felt liked I was really flying
I like the beginning of how it starts my favorite is the stairs and the village it makes it look real exactly as London it self
I have never been on this ride but Peter pan is my favorite Disney character!!!! Next time I go I'm getting on this ride
Missing Disney so much! This video helps! I love this ride.
2:29 Ariel is one of the mermaids

meeeeee lmaoo
I’m making a Disney world outside as a gift for my family

Don’t get why people think it should be updated, it already is amazing
Absoluetly! Greatly colorful!!
I remember riding this ride when I was little!😁

I'm going to Disney world for my 4th time this May 2020!🎢 and I'm soo excited 😍😍 watching all the Disney rides again, getting myself super pumped for it ☀️
Watching these Walt Disney World Resort rides, makes me cry missing the Disney magic & happiness of Walt Disney World Resort!😩💓💖

MrMrMrprofessor And I still don’t understand why this ride has times from 90-120 mins.
HeLp Me Mr SmEe HeLp Me
Thank you!! Thought I was the only one annoyed by Hook's voice in the WDW version
THANK YOU! it's so distracting!!!
They could have just stolen audio from Disneyland’s version since their Hook actually sounds like him.
This ride is such a magical ride!
Going next month!!! So EXCITED!!!!
I never rode this well thst i csn rember been ther alot but damn i love the dadk ride colors

Love This i wanted to ride it when I was there but the line was so long I couldn't ride it
It’s different I can’t wait to go back and see it
Gosh that Force Perspective
Everytime I go to Disney this ride has a 2 hour wait....first time seeing it here
I was just at Disney World, and let me just say...
The ride looks better in the video than it does in person, and that's saying something X'D
What camera/ lens / settings do you use to capture that kind of dark ride so brightly? PPF is still my favorite ride in all of WDW.(nostalgic reasons, of course). I'd love to record it this brightly for home videos.
My favorite ride at Disneyworld ! Feb 2022!
One of my favorite rides!!!
I think it’s time this ride got an upgrade
You didn't film the part where the track ends (and you take flight)?! That's the best part of the ride.
Maaan i miss Disney
I loved this ride..it was so cool
weird. I distinctly remember getting shot at by Hook and seeing Peter and all them on the cloud next to me. Does anyone else have that memory?
I remember going on that ride and it was fun
I love this ride but its two hours of line for one minute of ride 😂
great vid
3:33 lmao that doesn’t even sound like Captain Hook
just sounds like some random white dude xD
Walt Disney did the voices for both Smee and Captain Hook in the original 1955 ride in Disneyland and the same recording from Walt is used for WDW.
I like this ride a lot. Its really fun Cool and Amazing 😉
This is awesome!
I remember hiding under here when it was torrential rain and thunder, I miss it
Nice!
I loved this ride when I was younger, but I was always afraid of falling off of the ship
SO NOSTALGIC
I'm going on that ride in the future!
One of those rides where you forget how good it really is until you’re on it again. I went with a group and they got lightning lane for this and I thought it was a waste until I stepped onto the ride.
i haven’t been on this ride in a few years and i definitely DONT remember the waiting queue looking like that omg
I think the flying over London section is better in this one instead of Disneyland’s version
Love this ride
I didn't get to ride this cuz it has a very long line so I'm just watching the video 😂
Love this ride ❤
I remember the first time I rode this ride. I was about 4 or 5 and stood up too fast at the end of the ride. I ended up hitting my head on the cart I was in. It hurt a lot.
I wish the wait times weren’t so long for this ride
When I go I get the fast pass and skip the line 100% worth every penny
At least they didnt remove the crocodile references in this ride
Here we gooooooo
I loved this ride!
How many minutes of this ride and is it slow? Thank you
So how high is that track? should someone (crazy person) actually try to jump out.
Like. . 15 feet
My ride got stuck somewhere near the end and the looping music still haunts me.
You got the bad intro by Peter Pan! The "Common everybody!! Here we goooooo" one is what I like
What kind of camera did you use? Love the video!
If anyone else knows about the little buildings they constructed to give the illusion of you being high in the sky 👍
I loved that ride when I was little. Not Winnie the Pooh, not the haunted Mansion, but Peter pan flight
Me senti como una niʼna es mi primera vez que fui nunca me senti tan feliz ya de regreso volvi con mi deprecion tengo que regresar otra vez
When I was younger I went on this ride, we queued up for 6 hours and the ride felt like seconds. Was not worth it .
I went on this like 10 years ago when i was like 7, thought i was actually flying, to this day i still dont know , no one tell me
its probably obvious how it works once your there but because i was a kid my mind today thinks i actually flew
is that girl at the end of the boarding area twinkiling her hand over the lap bar to make it go down? if so, cool touch
Yes, they do it in Paris too some times.
The description of the ride says small drops. Couldn't notice any in the video. I get really nervous for any of the quick rides or anything with drops...do you notice anything on this one or is it pretty chill?
2:33 I found Ariel from the Little Mermaid like Easter eggs. 😮🤩
