What's your favorite Peter Pan Ride? Is it the one at Shanghai Disneyland? Disneyland Paris? Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World? or Tokyo Disneyland? Here's our rankings: 1. Shanghai Disneyland 2. Tokyo Disneyland 3. Disneyland 4. Disneyland Paris 5. Magic Kingdom
ikr..I rode it first at 6, been in love ever since. I'm thirteen now but I still love going on it and it has been my favorite ride for a while. I almost cried while watching this, it made me feel so happy.
Flying over the miniature version of Neverland has always been my favorite part of the ride. They've really improved upon it the past several years. It looks so good and shiny!
You’re actually flying over a basement with that stuff in it. The ride broke down for my mom and they had to turn on all the lights and apparently you’re really high up.
@@jessicavmichelhis always freaks me out about rides in general 🥶, I can’t deal with the backrooms and the dark parts where all the wires and controls are hidden. Dunno why, it’s some irrational fear I got lol
An omnimover like system like in Florida doesn’t help either. No matter where you go, one thing is certain, this ride will have some of the longest waits in the park.
When I had my first ride, I was really surprised! The houses under my boat were very small. They made me feel like I flew so high! I will never forget that memory:)
Peter pan and story book land are the best rides at Disneyland. No debate. So beautiful. Seeing neverland and flying in the floating stars always get me... I cant wait to go to disney next month
If I remember correctly Peter Pan ride the part where you go through the City of London it use to be much, much better,it use to look so much realistic the streets they look like they had real cars going around,
I know what you mean. I was in Disneyland in 1995 the first time. I was 7. It was also the very first Adventure Park i´ve ever been. Espessially this Peter Pan Ride looks outstanding. The same was with the Ghost Projection in the Haunted Mansion/Phantom Manor. Or the Pirates Of The Carribean Ride. Anyway, i was in Disneyland then again in 2009 and it loosed all of it´s magic when you grow older. I will never go again there because sometimes you should let this be in your brain how it was the first time.
I remember as a kid, back in 95 to 98ish, you went in between Captain Hook's legs while the gator was chasing him. Its so weird. But I remember things being much more details too. According to the ride footage I see on RUclips, the only ride that looks like what I remember is POTC... Expect the Jack Sparrow stuff od course. lol
Mizzy Jaymes Here’s some tips when criticizing people for spelling and grammar on the internet. It’s not a term paper, people are often writing with their thumbs or even voice to text which makes errors, out of everything else in life RUclips comments are way low on the totem pole as far as importance with being completely accurate, and I always consider that English isn’t everyone’s first language. People can access RUclips all over the world, and if they’re trying to communicate using English and they make a few errors, so what? Of course it’s easier to read something that’s grammatically correct, but again it’s not a thesis, it’s a comment section. Now should the POTUS have correct spelling and grammar on all his posts, absolutely, but he truly is a moron so he doesn’t. So some people should be expected to be correct on social media platforms, but for the most part it’s really no big deal, no one should be required to proof read their comments, and when that’s the only insult people have they have nothing. I have a masters degree, but I get lazy sometimes and just hope people know what I meant because I’m not going to go back and correct it when I have little time as it is to enjoy RUclips. That’s my take on the grammar police online anyways, but to each is own.
Thank you to you and others who post these rides up. I was there as a small child and I barely remember ANY of it. Pieces and parts from rides for Disney to universal. It helps me to go 'Yay I saw that' or Oh I think I rode that.
For a relatively old fashioned and low tech ride, Peter Pan's Flight has always been very popular. I'm too old, sick & poor now but when I went to Disneyland the Peter Pan was always my first ride of the day. 😀
I remember I went to Disney land Paris with my family for my 18th birthday in 2018 and I’ve been on this ride and it was fun. I also went on to Ratatouille ride. I even met Mickey Mouse, Princess Aurora and Jafar. Good old times.
When I was a kid, I had a nightmare where I was on the ride, and just as my ship "flew" over London, I fell out and landed on the model city, smashing it. And I tried to reach up to get back into the ship, but it was too high up and moving too quickly, so all I could do is stand there in the dark and try not to break anything else. It was a very weird dream that came right the eff out of nowhere, but ever since then, that part of the ride (and the bit where you fly over the model of Never Land) has made me horribly anxious. I'm almost 30 now, and I *still* couldn't shake my sense of dread when I went to Disneyland couple years ago. Yes, it's a completely irrational fear. Yes, it's a really dumb thing to worry about. But I just can't let it go, and I've never quite been able to fully enjoy this ride as a direct result. :-/
I was 14 the first time I ever went to Disney and rode this ride. I was expecting a rail beneath the boat, so when it started and there were none, for a reaaally short second, I thought it was flying for real and got really excited lol. That was until I noticed the part above us…it was still cool, the ride was very immersive, but I’ll never forget that feeling when I didn’t see the rails, lol. I also got excited in the line when I got to the point where people were playing with the shadow projector. Overall a cool experience.
I just watched the WDW version of this ride, and while that one is a bit longer and feels a little more calm, this one is a lot more magical! I grew up going to Disneyland, so it makes sense this would be my favorite, but there's more sound effects and mystical and magical feelings to this one, so it's definitely better :)
Idk about more calm, I can hear some of the sounds from previous parts which kinda breaks my immersion from the WDW ride. You don't hear previous effects at all on this ride.
This used to be one of my favorites as a kid. Idk if it's the camera or the fact that I'm grown now, but this video makes it looks pretty underwhelming
Being afraid of heights at a young age, I nearly pooped my pants (figuratively) when the island scene appeared. I'll never forget the feeling of absolute terror.
God I miss working there, it was honestly the best job in my life, even more so than the navy. but I was pushing 26 and had to grow up. if money was no object is work there for the rest of my life.
My father in law has been working at Disneyland for 42 years. You are right that money can be a factor when deciding to leave or not work for the company, but working there doesn’t mean one is not a grown up. I’m glad you loved it though, lots of people complain about their job there.
@@daisyphoenixjames2103 I'm sure it's a lot of hard labor, under the glitter. Construction, set and art design, and think of the nightmare of doing the electrical work! All those lights make Vegas seem wimpy. Especially the Holiday version. I can't even figure out how they could've made all those sets and rides. Look at Small World- It doesn't seem like there would be enough hours in the day to make all that, PLUS all the other rides!
When I was a little kid my parents surprised me by taking me to the park in Anaheim, I dare say this was my favorite ride. Don’t know that I would go for it as an adult but as a kid I thought it was all real.
Yeah it's definitely one of the most packed rides there. Istg I always avoid that ride whenever I go to Disneyland considering it never fails that there's a line
I remember the first part of the ride up to the island from the first time I rode it when I was a kid in the 70's. The only other part I remember is Captain Hook on the crocodile. I've ridden it a couple of times since then, most recently in 2010, but I still remember the first time the best.
I got to ride this with the lights on, and sound off, because it broke down while we just got out of flying over the houses. Since you kinda are in the air in Peter Pan, the way out for us is the way out that the ships have 😂 so we gotta see a whole bunch of behind the scenes stuff, and see how they create the magic and illusions in the ride. The cast member who came over and was on the phone to tell other cast members that we were okay was apologizing a lot, and I just kept going on about how cool it was.
It's one of my favorite rides. I love it! I hate the fact that there's always a huge 2 hour + line just for a very short lasting ride. 😏 To me it's worth it because I love the ride but I do wish it had a shorter line.
I remember my dad taking a friend of mine and I on this ride when we were about two or three years old. I think my friend enjoyed it (she's practically grown up at Disneyland, lol), but I'm pretty sure I hated every second of it.
