I've been a customer for a few months now, and I love their tea! I usually buy loose leaf and organic when possible as it's better than steeping the tea in plastic. If you like green tea - I recommend the organic sencha if it's in stock.
This is my first introduction to the reporter Nancy Chen. Very impressed with her personality and professionalism! She needs to be on the CBS morning show more often, if not being one of the regular anchors. Oh, and I'm a regular customer of Harney & Sons... awesome tea! 🙂
a recent video i saw explained it better, what you're doing is increasing the surface area contact and essentially causing the liquid to hit all over your mouth for the purpose of both flavor and smell on exhale...that's all i know. like taking a sip with a straw half down your throat, vs pouring a gallon bucket over you with your mouth open towards it. if you know anything about pot and bongs with percs then that's another analogy.
Harney and Sons has excellent teas. I'm currently addicted to their Earl Grey Supreme, English Breakfast, Paris, and Victorian London Fog. I enjoy using their teas to make iced tea.
Their loose leaf tea is great! I just wish they’d stop using plastic in their tea bags. As of June 2023, over 90% of their tea bags were made from a sugarcane based material so they are making a concerted effort. Hopefully, their hard work translates to other food industries as well.
normally i don't care about the environment and waste etc...but in this scenario i agree strictly because it makes my tea taste better. forget the morality nonsense, im dying alone and soon enough,what happens after im gone doesn't concern me,im leaving nothing behind.
go figues... we are talking about the same people who in the 1940,s i think, had it to where when you bought an appliance,say a blender ...you would then have to buy a plug for it,yes a plug,no im not joking...you had to buy the part you push into the wall to power it on separately.... those people right? why am i not surprised.
@@bloodlove93 I had to do this last year when I bought an electric toothbrush. The charger didn't have a wall plug; it had a USB plug! My 1997 bathroom doesn't have USB built into the wall. WalMart's converters were a bit expensive, IMO so I picked up a simple one at Dollar Tree: a little rectangular box with two prongs and one USB port.
While I love their teas, tea makers need to stop with this "silken" tea bag nonsense. It's plastic. Who thought plastic and boiling hot water and then consuming it is a good idea? Buy loose leaf or spend the extra copay later for the doctors.
