The biggest issue was how lefty heavy they were last year.. and you want them starting 7 lefties and having one on the bench lol.. breslow and Kennedy have already said balancing the lineup will be a focus. ... also, kenley already quit on the team and it's been believed since before the season that he wants to be back in LA. .. he isn't coming back to Boston. Also, Grissom will be on the opening day roster and that's not even a question. And 0% chance Mayer makes the bigs out of spring training. He got hurt before he could even play in AAA. He's starting the year in Worcester with Teel and probably Anthony.
While Mayer has been good as a prospect, he's also getting to be a known injury risk. My prediction is if any of the big four get traded, Campbell being the fourth that for some reason you never mentioned, it will be Mayer. Also, have you forgotten Wong? He's going to be the starting catcher on opening day. And they will not get Corbin Burnes. Fried is the only hope for a top of the rotation guy through free agency. Man I don't mean to be a dick but this is a terrible list.
Doesn't happen. No way Sox add LH Bats while taking away a RH bat. In your scenario only C and 2B are RH. I think Grissom starts at 2B with Cambell moved to the OF. Abreu or Duran are traded to make room for Campbell and eventually Anthony. My guess, Duran is dangled to Philly Seattle or Pittsburg for a SP. Kutter is in the BP or traded. My next guess, because Story Campbell Rafaela and Hamilton can all play SS with Romero Arias Cespedes and Zanetello all to follow, Mayer is either dangled to Miami for Braxton Garrett or Euery Perez. It will cost more than Mayer like the Garcia Brothers and Montgomery to get Euery but he has ACE potential. Mayer for Bo makes sense too if Boston gets the chance to extend him.
And Mayer has "done nothing but rake in the minors"? Dude he hit .236 in 2023. I'm rooting for you to be successful but to hear the Jansen take then this, you gotta tighten it up bro.
He was obviously hurt in ‘23. Look at his numbers pre and post injury. He has absolutely raked when healthy. Just using his BA for the total year is lazy, so if anything you “tighten up” smh
Sign Corbin Burnes. Sign Jack Flaherty. Sign Roki Sasaki (if available.) They need pitching. Pitching will always be their undoing in their current state. They have the prospects for hitting but lack in arms.
How could you not know that KJ is not coming back. He has stated his displeasure with the front office on several occasions and has expressed his desire to head back to LA. That knowledge doesn't require any effort. I like your videos, but it's hard to take seriously when so soon into this one you missed.
The Red Sox aren't buyers. Corbin Burns would be way costlier than keeping Nick Pivetta around. They have a ton of infielding talent in the farm, but not a lot of arms. I'd trade Jensen and O'Neil who's this year's version of Adam Duvall to bring in some decent pitching prospects. Also trade Story, he was the worst signing since Pablo Sandoval. Sox need to get younger.
@@JuanMartinez-xf3uz Danny Jansen and Tyler O'Neill can't be traded as they are free agents. Story hasn't been a good contract because of the injuries. But his value is at an all time low because of it, you'd have to eat salary, and when he's on the field he IS your right handed power and best defensive infielder by a mile. He is also a leader of this team that is DYING for a voice in the dugout. You don't trade Story.
Thank you so much for watching. The support on the series has been beyond my expectations and more, and I can't thank you enough!
Brother, Kenley quit on the team and was in the dodgers dugout the next week. He is not coming back
What about
Kristian Campbell: Baseball America’s 2024 Minor League Player Of The Year I see him starting in 25 at 2nd base
They have Campbell playing around the field. Super utility role looks likely when he debuts which will likely be some time mid season 2025
Max contract for Fried, short deal for Bieber, trade wilyer abreu and other low rank prospects for Rooker and get Kirby yates

Are you unaware of Kenley's fued with the Red Sox? He'd never come back here, whattya mean he could potentially be part of the rebuild.

Rafaela as a utility is comical
why would they sign diaz if they already have wong?
There is an absolutely ZERO chance Kenley comes back. He is not worth the money, he is not a good teammate, and he's on the way wrong side of 30.
Sign Corbin Burnes. Sign Jack Flaherty. Sign Roki Sasaki (if available.) They need pitching. Pitching will always be their undoing in their current state. They have the prospects for hitting but lack in arms.
PITCHING! THE SOX NEED BETTER PITCHING! And to make less errors.
Bench Connor Wong for a worse glove and worse bat... yeah I don't think so.

Kenley ain’t coming back
Sox cant afford Burnes.
Yes they can it’s just that ownership won’t spend. They are well below the tax the ownership is just shitty
